Over a year ago I’ve started to really dive deep into photography on the more professional side and after shooting dogs and landscapes( I live in central nh where there are few people willing to model), I’ve decided to attack photography with a different eye. A Different brush stroke you may say. So I’ve been experimenting with making head and neck pieces. I like the challenge of working with the face. You can hide expressions or alter them
So here is my journey from most recent to my first as a practical effect fan and practitioner.
A fever/A Night/A bridge/A Body
And here we are at the latest photo. All my hard work in one shot. Had to avoid many cars passing on the bridge and I think we burned some nightmares into some minds. But I’m happy.

The Fear is What Keeps Us Here
After searching far and wide I finally connected with someone who is as passionate about being creative and strange. This isn’t the most comfortable shoot. But she loved it.

Test fit
After using the neck piece in some self portraits I felt it needed more. So this was a test fit of the revised neck piece.
Nothings Absolute
First shot experimenting with a new concept and new neck piece.
Waiting for the Real World to Bloom
While a good friend was visiting I was looking to just get a few more shots of the headpiece. Simple is as simple does.

Awake but Here
Got a wonderful chance to model for the brilliant Karen Jerzyk. Really helped me figure out how to work with other humans and to work with natural light and fog.

The Watcher
2nd photo I took with the wicker headpiece. Wanted to give a more creative aspect but still keep it simple.

Sunday’s Bloom
This is the first photo and first time the head piece was used. Also this was my first step in a creative direction.
