Cop Calls This Guy To Inform Him That His Husky Is Sitting On The Roof Of His House, Provides Hilarious Evidence

Remember the two puppers who set out to investigate the woof of their house? Well, it looks like word of their adventure is spreading. Earlier this month, one very good girl decided to do the same and pull the ‘husky on roof’ stunt.

Cheryl Ramsay from Prince Edward Island, Canada, was cleaning the house and left the bedroom window open to let in some of that beautiful fresh air. The woman went on with her day and forgot about this little detail. However, Cheryl and her family were reminded of it when the police phoned her husband to inform him that a Husky dog is chilling on their roof.

“Her name is Nala and she is 17 months old,” Cheryl introduced her adorable dog to Bored Panda. “She is loving and very smart. I would describe her personality as playful, jealous, needy… She does not like being left alone. She is like a person and a goldfish, one second she wants out, then in, out, and in.”

Just before receiving the unexpected call, Cheryl was at the gas station and her husband Paul was running an errand for work. “He could not believe the police officer when he was being told about the ‘dog on roof’ situation,” she said.

But the man did get to see it with his own eyes. “Right before Paul got home, there were the police officer and some bystanders standing around, and our silly dog just jumped back into the window.”

Even though Siberian huskies are friendly and intelligent, these northern dogs are somewhat independent and stubborn. According to Michele Weltonover, a dog breed advisor of 35 years, they’re really athletic, agile, and light on their feet. Combine these characteristics with the love these funny dogs have for the great outdoors and such a stunt — as surprising as it is — definitely feels like something they could think of.

Nala already has the reputation of a little escape artist. “She chewed 7 retractable leashes and 3 seatbelts in our vehicles,” Cheryl added. “She knows what she wants and she finds a way to get it.” I wonder what tricks this one funny husky is planning now!

I have a 7 year old Siberian Husky. We rescued him at 4 years old. I have no idea why anyone would abandon him. He has the sweetest disposition of any dog I've had in my 52 years. He's fully house trained and obedient. He's quiet and only barks if a stranger is near. But, poor boy was terrified of brooms and loud noises. I won't say who we rescued him from. But, I was told the woman of the house would beat him with a broom if he dared to play with her other dog's toys. It took some doing.....lots of love and attention, and talking softly to him as I sweep. But, he slowly became less and less afraid of the broom. Today, he knows his mama loves him and am NOT going to hit him. But, when I get to his spot, he gets up and moves a few feet away... allowing me to sleep where he was laying. He stands on his hind legs and literally hugs me if I have to go out of town.....even just for one night. Yet, the former owner said he's NOT an affectionate dog. My Husky is home furever! And very loved.

This made me smile. Hopefully, Nala's family will remember to close the windows the next time they go out to do errands. Although, knowing Nala, she'll probably find another way to get out there.

Okay, elephant in the room. Only in Canada would you open the window to get some fresh air, and leave it open, when there is still snow on the ground. And I'm from Wisconsin. LOL What a great dog!

Some dogs just enjoy lying down in the snow. And if it includes a view, then score!

When I grew up in Houston during the 70s there was a dog nearby that was almost always on the roof. I think a golden retriever

Of course she wants out on the snow. She's a husky. Duh :D Considering her other antics (“She chewed 7 retractable leashes and 3 seatbelts in our vehicles,” Cheryl added. “She knows what she wants and she finds a way to get it.”), Nala seems to be a very smart, stubborn and adventurous girl. You go, Nala!

The snow was beckoning her. There are some ppl that make up very small kids swimming pools with quite a bit of snow and ice for dogs such as Huskies, Malamutes, and other dogs that are bred and usually live in cold weather to lay in and chill, and they absolutely love it. Especially in the heat. There are videos on YouTube, that's where I have seen some. It's a beautiful thing for these dogs as they are in heaven ❤️ enjoying the cold. It seems like the snow on the roof was entirely too tempting for the beautiful Ms. Nala, and she looked completely comfortable and confident in her element, chilling out on her snow throne, overlooking her domain. So much love for this Queen.

Sounds like my old husky. She used to jump up on a chair, get on the deck table and then get on and walk the railing around the deck which was twenty feet off the ground!

My landlords live in a 3 storey house. The crows like to tease the Fox Terriers who can, using the outside walls on the staircase to the cottage over the garage get on the roof. The dogs then chase the crows. ON THE ROOF. They've had to put 8 foot high fences up to stop the dogs having access to that part of yard where the outside staircase is. 8 feet because they can climb anything lower.

A friend had a dog which escaped through the skylight window to the roof and could not go back. Worse than that, he even laid a turd on the roof tiles.

Our dog- Chopper- chews up my headphones. He doesn’t go for the fixable parts, he goes for the FREAKING CORDS. The rest of the headphones are completely untouched. He does that when he gets mad at us for leaving him home alone

This happened to my malamute at my new years party one year. She climbed out my brother's open window upstairs and when I came down from the shed to get some more drinks for the party, I saw her sitting there staring at me with a dopey expression and her tongue hanging out. She thought it was brilliant.

I love the 'Sorry, not sorry' expression, lol. He wanted to lay in the snow and have a bird's eye view of the neighborhood. Can't blame him. Huskies are all personality.

Oh my, really gotta stop her chewing on leashes. Nip it in the bud. I know from first hand experience how that turns out. I'm very strict with our dog and taught her not to chew the leash. No problem there. She doesn't even try. Husband same thing. But the little bugger knows that when my brother takes her out (she loves him to bits) he won't stop her chewing. And this after 12 years... Their outtings get very expensive now and then ;)
