Husband Texts Wife He Spent $800 From Their Vacation Budget On His Student After Noticing His Clothing
Some boyfriends and husbands make sure that their relationship is never boring. This story is about one of them. Recently, he took $800 from his and his partner’s holiday budget, shortening it by a couple of days. And he did it without them knowing.

But before you strike your gavel to convict the guy, scroll down to read the confession he texted his significant other. After all, he had a good reason.
People loved this random act of kindness
Although it's very heartwarming, especially with the holidays around the corner, I kinda have the feeling that when you try to help others it's a little bit like walking on thin ice. Some people are too proud to accept help and are sometimes offended by it. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not implying that we shouldn't help others in need, it's just that we must be very careful not to make them feel uncomfortable and/or incapable of taking care of themselves.
There is a simple solution for that - Just ask. If they want the help, great. If they don't, back off and don't pressure them. It's about making them feel good not yourself. If it's something serious, then possibly try to find another of way of giving them the help while letting them feel they earned it. For example, he could offer the kid to do some chores for money and give him way more than expected.
Load More Replies...Mine too. I was skeptical of the title at first. but hearing the story, the husband / teacher is clearly an amazing person and spouse. Giving to a kid in need like that is more valuable than an extra two days on a trip. It shouldn’t have to be this way for kids or anyone working their hardest. But since it is, it’s nice to have people around who care.
Load More Replies...Well he said that he noticed about the boy condition and start talking to the boy about why he wear the same clothes everyday. While he learn about the boy condition, I think he decided to help them right there.. And i assumed he gave the boy a lift home.. And while he waited at the boy's home he start text his wife about it.. :) When you focused on something, sometimes you can forgot about other things :)
Ok. So why couldn't this have been a nice gesture kept between them? Why post it on social media for "likes"? Doing a good thing for just the sake of it is wonderful, doing a good deed just to post it on social media for "likes" and attention is desperate and puts a completely different light on the situation. "Look at me! Look at me! I'm doing a good thing, everyone look and witness this great thing... aren't I just wonderful?? Look, Look!!!"
Okay, first of all they probably did it cause it's just a good thing to do, I guees. I mean - it's possible just so is the option that what they did it was not-so-altruistic, (we will never know though). Secondly, well, if they want to post it - why not? Some people will have a better day after a positive blog, some may think about it and change themselves even a little and a lot of other. I don't know what about you but this story made me smile.
Load More Replies...Because kindness and generosity is contagious. If one person reads it and decides to do something kind for someone in need then why should we care if they post it. With all that's going on in the world we all need to hear beautiful heartwarming stories like this.
Studies have shown that when an act of kindness is made, serotonin is increased in the GIVER, the RECEIVER, -- AND -- those who WITNESS of the act. ---- almost the ONLY activity you can perform that will positively impact someone who simply witnesses it. (Translation: GOOD VIBES FOR EVERYONE.) ------ And yes, also because it is contagious. Seeing or hearing about acts of kindness inspire others to do the same. ----- Honestly, to me it seemed that he posted this so he could share (brag about) what a wonderful wife he has. ---- He knew she would understand and not be mad, even though he made the decision to spend THEIR money without consulting her, and he was proud. :o)
One in a million soulmate indeed, luckily she isn't the type of spouse who thinks the money should be all for herself
Heartwarming story but I wonder if it's real. Don't get me wrong the sentiment is fine but I wonder do people really send such long texts? It reads more like aspiring writer's prose than two people in a real relationship. Honestly if you took 800 dollars from your joint account, are you going to send a 'BTW' text? I would at very least call and preferable do it in person. There is so much fake c**p out there, so maybe I'm hyper sensitive but this just seems too pat.
Officially, these couples are one of my faves.. May God bless them and give them more than they have given others. :)
Caring teacher. There are good people out there. God bless this couple.
To MFDork: there are millions of kind people out there. It's just not newsworthy to report them
Me and my husband know people like this, a young couple with a small child, and always help them wherever we can. It's the human thing to do
Wonderful thought, but the best help is sustainable. Get them in touch with a food bank, meals on wheels program. Often those resources also have clothing items and can show them how to get rent and utility assistance. Christmas is still a good idea.
