Hurricane Irma is already larger, stronger, and potentially more fatal than Harvey - and it's not over yet.

Irma has sent the Caribbean and several southern States into crisis mode after reportedly destroying '95 percent' of Saint-Martin, Barbuda, and the British Virgin Islands. Millions of people have been left stranded and homeless with no access to water, electricity or phone service, and at least 10 are dead. The Bahamas and Cuba are bracing for a similarly devastating impact, as is the State of Florida, which is currently being completely evacuated.

Scroll down to see chilling photos of the damage caused by the harrowing storm so far, and if you are in an area at risk of being affected, heed all warnings by relevant authorities and make your way to a safe place. If you would like to help, find more info here.

Poor little darlings. None of them have collars. They're all strays banding together. Shame on the people for not responsibly spaying and neutering the dogs. They condemn them to painful lives of emaciation, worms, parasites, diseases, getting hit by cars, abuse by humans.

They must be so frightened, the one on the right is trying to figure how to get up the tree.

smh... another reason why the neglected and self maintained stray issue in the caribbean has to be fixed .. at the core.. too many animals suffer and why ? because humans are not responsible.. it is very sad.. this energy.. attracts more hurricanes.. sometimes people get exactly what they deserve.. sadly.. karma .. RIP to all of our strays who lost their lives and suffered and were abandoned and left to die.. because they were. paradise eh... yeah.. sure..

They should be in a shelter - they don't deserve to be abandoned - shame!

Honestly, I hope their strays cause I wouldn't want anyone worried about there dog that got lost or something durning the hurricane.

Given the number of strays on these islands, their future is very bleak unless an American rescue goes in to help.

Unfortunately, a lot of people abandon their pets. There are a lot of pets being found in homes in the aftermath of Harvey right now in Houston :(
