Throughout human history, photographs have captured raw, poignant moments that resonate deeply with our shared human experience. From the the desperate mother's gaze during the Great Depression captured in "Migrant Mother", to the jubilant sailor kissing a nurse in Times Square at the end of World War II, these emotional snapshots offer an unfiltered insight into the highs and lows, the triumphs and tragedies, of our collective past.

Instagram page by the name of "Pictures of Humanity" collects such photographs all in one place to share with their audience. Today we'd like to share some of the best ones with you, Pandas.

Perhaps this is why my bf was placed on a chair near the wall so he could just look at me and tell me how brave I was (nah... I just told the doctors to get the baby out alive. I was so scared she'd not make it)? Less risk of fainting soon-to-be-dad?

I had a scheduled cesarean for my son. They always bring the dad in after the surgery is underway and well...the RN who escorted my husband brought him in the wrong door. He said the first thing he saw were my intestines laying out on my abdomen. I've never that shade of pale on a living person before or since! The man has officially seen more of my body than I have:)

That is pretty horrifying picture. "Mister Jones, do you want to see you cute newborn? Bam, there is your wife, cut in pieces, guts lying around." I can imagine his shock!

I just had blood drawn last week, the (female) technician was warning me about the needle pain, I replied "eh, not as bad as giving birth". She then said that a lot of the women whose blood she's taken say the same thing. However, she regularly gets men wincing and complaining about how much it hurts.

I guess I will get downvoted, but I still have to say it. Childbirth is extremely stressful for men. We are hardwired to protect our loved ones and from very early we hear stories about how women die during giving birth. Now, try to see it from our side. Our most beloved person is in huge amount of pain and physical struggle, and we cannot help at all. And it takes hours and hours. And we cannot help. Just "be there, support her". Support her how? We are not allowed to even hold her hand, just stand there, watch her go through excruciating pain during something what we were taught is super dangerous (statistics do not apply in the moment). And then it is over, baby is crying, wife is alive, everything is good, and the biggest fear is replaced with even bigger happiness. The sudden relief is overwhelming. (And now we are here, making fun of guy who truly loves his wife and it showed. Why men don't show any emotions again?)

Pretty common. FYI, a lot of the fainting is caused by the sight of blood. It’s called vasovagal syncope. It’s an uncontrollable response to seeing blood/trauma etc that results in a rapid drop in blood pressure and heart rate (cue the fainting). It’s not really a “tough/weak” type of thing at all. Unfortunately, it’s also what weeds out potentially good medical and EMS professionals since it is uncontrollable…
