“How To Train Your Dragon” Kite Looks Just As Awesome As It Sounds
When Peter Lynn Kite Factory was asked to produce a giant 3D dragon-shaped kite in 2014, nobody could have anticipated how epic it turned out to be. In just 2 months, the New Zealand-based design team crafted an 18-metre flying model of Toothless, one of the main characters from DreamWorks’ How to Train Your Dragon series.
In July of 2014, shortly after the release of How to Train Your Dragon 2, the incredible kite was flown over Tower Bridge in London in a truly cinematic display, its strings held by a speed boat on the river Thames.
Fans of Toothless and other beloved Dragon characters are eagerly awaiting the release of How to Train Your Dragon 3, slated to reach theatres in March 2019.
