How To Be A Good Feminist: A Guide I Made For Very Confused Individuals
Editor‘s note: Teo Mechea is a Romanian graphic designer and illustrator currently living in UK. She has just finished drawing her newest piece answering some questions about a popular topic in today‘s world – feminism.
The author says that it had always bugged her “how almost all of what the mainstream media can say about feminism is what certain women wear or do with their bodies, and is that feminist or not.”
“This is a little reminder of what it’s all about: equality and acceptance between both genders aka being decent people. The cheap and crappy debates of wearing a bra or not is what makes people reluctant towards calling themselves feminists even though they might agree with what the term promotes,” says Mechea on her Facebook.

Share on Facebookyeah! when a woman say she want to be a stay at home mom. they're always other womans to take s**t on her for doing that
Merriam-Webster definition of feminism (quote) : Definition of feminism 1: the theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes 2: organized activity on behalf of women's rights and interests Feminism has nothing to do with race or orientation, this politically correct narrative is unfortunately counter-productive. Hijab and feminism are not compatible. Women got executed or worse by the thousands for refusing to wear it. Some still get viciously attacked for it. Stop this disgusting propaganda. Feminism was born out of struggle of very brave Western women. Just respect the facts and embrace the beliefs of your choice without reinventing history.
Feminism is all about equality, and equality includes religion, gender, ethnicity, nationality, health condition, marital status, opinions, sex orientation and any other that matters human dignity, and if you think about it, all this issues come from the womb, the family or family culture, which itself comes from women; so equality has much to do with feminism. Now, about the Hijab, its religious enforcement has caused a debate as western culture sees it as a symbol of retrograde religiousity, but non the less its a garment used by women not by men, so in feminism what's important is what women choose, as it is emphasised in the article above. And yes, you are right, feminism was born in western culture, at least in modern days, and thats because men had to go to war, I believe in WWII, so women had to take thier places in work posts, so when the war ended things never were the same again, as women felt independent and productive, and this has to do with equality. Thanks ur att'n.
