That's like my son- he was about 20 or so, and made his first home-made pumpkin pie for a church pot-luck. It was winter, and he had on wet boots as he entered the fellowship hall. Next thing, someone is coming to get me because he had slipped and fallen, and the pie went flying. After I made sure he was ok, I asked about the fate of the pie .... it did not end well for that initial effort. He's done much better since then.
