I am Roza, a designer for “Shovava”, my personal clothing line based on my drawings. I wanted to share a little project of mine I’ve been working on utilizing all those drawings and sketches I did for Shovava scarves. Over time I have gathered so many of them that they were barely fitting under my bed. So I decided to put them to use!
I started with transforming my toilet. Deciding not to overthink it, I just glued bits and pieces all over the place. After its’ been glued on, I “connected” the drawings with more drawings on top. The hardest part was dealing with constantly bubbling paper and varnish that would smudge the ink (oh the horror!). But after drawings were sealed, it was easy to fix them and keep on layering that varnish.
In the end, It was a joyful affair and hopefully this little, but the important room is more fun now. Hope you like!

Load More Replies...Love it..! Funny I should come across this by pure accident as I'm about to illustrate in my little loo too! I never thought of using already prepared illustration and then working on top, maybe I should but I hear you about the smudging issues. I plan to use marker pens just in black and originally to freehand doodle but I'm loving the figurative pieces in as extra interest like the birds etc. Thanks for sharing. I'm now rejigging my own thoughts on my own little space. <3
I admired your work while taking a giant dump. It was doubly beautiful.
I really love your toilet! 😊 Can I ask you what colours do you use? Thx
I used black acrylic. if you'd like to do it and then seal it, make sure you use paint that dries water-resistant ;)

Wow! As someone who spends a lot of time in the bathroom due to an autoimmune disease known as Crohn's Disease, this is something I'd love to do one day.
I agree totally I feel for you I live in my bathroom due to an over active bladder and would like more then boring white walls
Load More Replies...Sorry but one of those pics (the back of the door) looks like its full of d***s : )
Weird that you wouldn't have removed the step stool before taking the picture. Other than that it looks great.
Parts of the drawing (coming out the back of the toilet) look like a bunch of d***s. How appropriate.
well mushrooms, fungi and other natural phenomena in nature often do look like d***s!
