I’ve been drawing my whole life, but I have never studied art, as my mother didn’t allow it. However, that never stopped me from doing it. When I was a little child I used to draw on everything: walls, ceilings, everything! Later, I started making funny doodles for my language school called Lingvistov … and that was the beginning of it all!

We launched our online shop only last winter where we sell my illustrated prints and books. We didn’t have any visitors or sales, so I decided to take action. One of the artists among my friends in Facebook shared a post from Bored Panda and I liked the website because of its good taste. After posting my illustrations here – everything changed almost overnight. I started getting tons of emails asking to publish my illustrations. Among them were the Huffington Post, Metro UK, Design Taxi and many others.
My cat August is my biggest muse!
We went from 2-3 monthly orders to 150. When a new post comes – due to Bored Panda we get massive exposure – it can be up to 10000 visitors and much much more. One of these posts even crashed our site due to enormous visitor count.

This post is my way of thanking Bored Panda and especially their moderator Aiste who helped me a lot. Now my dream of becoming an illustrator and doing it as a job, not a hobby, is coming to life!

I am also a unprofessional artist but wanted to get paid by doing what I love and that is sketching and doing some art, you can literally compare my work to a professional, but I don't know if where should I start

I have a question.My freshman yr in hs my friend wore her hair in a ponytail so there was not a ponytail holder showing right, so I didnt know how she did that so I asked her & she said she just takes a piece of her hair and wraps it around the top and it stays. everytime I tried to do that to my hair it would just fall. (For those of you still reading Thank you and there is a point to this). Years later Im on fb & that same friend I see has moved to SanFransisco and designs backgrounds for plays & I was like right on she always could draw really well. So we became fb friends, a couple wks go by & I see her fb says she wrote a play that was doing well so I went to see what it was called & what it was about & Seriously this play is called "It Was Only a Bobbypin" . At 1st I was like hu wonder what thats about , by then I forgotten about the magical ponytail. My point is why didnt she just tell me. I think its lame she wrote a play about it I just wanted to get eveyones thoughts ?

I hope I could do that too!! I've been doing drawings and arts. but I only posts in instagram ???? would like to sell them but I think no one wants ???? I love doodle arts. you can check some in my Instagram acct. @ mymessytable1 if you just want. but then congrats to you for havin the life that you want ????????????
