I think this applies to more than anxiety, but also introversion. Sometimes I make plans, and I'm all for it when I make them, but as the time draws closer, sometimes depending on my energy level, the less up for it i feel.

    Doing something kind for someone really, really helps me. Supporting my wife, for example - it takes away all my self centered (!) thoughts and "fears". We have a children wish - so, it may sound stupid - but while this will cause "stress" it also shifts my view to the little thing requiring attention. Other than that: distraction helps a lot. Eating: be careful, I realized too late that I started to overeat as it made me feel "happy" - gained 10kg, now back to healthy dieting (less calories - no sports currently because see earlier images...sucks...)
