World Of Layers: I Use Layer Processing To Make A Series Of Images Related To Architecture (5 Pics)
Community member
One of my last series of images is related to architecture. Normally, to highlight the structural elements of some buildings, I use layer processing. This series (under construction) uses these layers but in a colorful way. Giving a new look and maintaining the base design of the structures I photographed.

Title
My name is Antonio Bernardino Martins Coelho, I am from a small village in the north of Portugal, where I live. I am 42 years old, married and father of two girls. I work as an electrical engineer. A taste for painting was evident in me early on, but it was only in 2010 after a trip to Cuba that I became interested in photography, having captured a lot of images. However, having a small digital camera, I started to acquire analog equipment and develop the photography learning activity in a self-taught way, using very old and medium format machines. My favorite camera is the Zeiss Ikon Nettar. It was only in 2015 that I bought my first DSLR and since then I have developed skills in digital photography and digital image processing. I have particularly interest in still life, landscape, conceptual and architecture. In 2017 I get my first victory in international competitions, in still life, at the Xposure festival, in Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates.Since then I have participated in many national and international competitions, having conquered podium places in competitions with high recognition. In 2018 I achieved the title of Portugal National Award at the Sony Awards, and commended at the same contest. The same feat is achieved in 2020, with the same title, Portugal National Award at the Sony Awards and shortlisted in still life. And 2021, a series of my photographs that address the problem of plastic on the environment and food, is an integral part of the exhibition at the Xposure festival, in Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. Still in 2021, I achieved the gold title in the WPE awards, Budapest International Photo Awards and Tokyo International Foto Awards competitions.Publication of my photographs in Portuguese and international magazines such as Practical Photographer Magazine and Digital Photographer Magazine.Xposure 2017 - still life winnerMonochrome Awards 2017 - 3rd place in conceptual, honorable mention, 2018 - Honorable mention in Architecture and conceptual;35awards 2016, 2nd place in conceptual, in best photo project;Monovisions 2017 - Honorable mention in Conceptual and nature, 2018 - Honorable mention in ConceptualFAPA AWARDS 2017, 2019, 2021 - NomineeGold award and 2nd place at MIFA 2021, silver at MIFA 2021.2nd place at VIPA awards, 1st edition.WPE awards 2021, gold award;Umbra awards 2019 and 2020, 2nd place in architecture;Xposure 2021-guest photographer;Gold winner PX3 2021, Advertising new talentGold award IPA awards 2021, Advertising Photographer of the Year 2021 Non professional.ND awards winner100ASA ambassador

Hey there, Pandas! My name is Diana (though some prefer to refer to me as Diane, Deanna, and even Liana sometimes), and I am a Community Post Moderator Lead for Bored Panda. As my position title states, I am one of the people (employed Pandas for bamboo) over here who work with the community side of things on this website to ensure all is well, and while at that, I also help various creators and artists get recognition for the incredible work they do by connecting them to a large worldwide audience. Other than that, outside of work, you can find me brewing a nice cup of coffee, making a pizza from scratch, or baking brownies. I also love traveling, concerts, and cats (heavy on that, because I am a cat mom).
