Never Give Up
@tutul1410 (Bangladesh)
Taken at a centre for paralysed people in Bangladesh.
As someone who has recently become disabled, I spent 8 months mourning the things I can't do any more. Depressing! One day, I decided to celebrate the things I CAN do, and that spurred me to find workarounds for the things that used to be "can'ts". That became very empowering!

Into The Flames...
@seinq (Malaysia)
"A shot of a firefighter sacrificing his life, doing his job and keeping everybody safe. A bus caught on fire and it was a total disaster, and the firefighters came. Everyone was safe, there were no injuries. I was there at the right moment and the right time, and this firefighter has done what he was supposed to do."
this is a beautiful photo. i seriously admire firefighters for being the kind of people who will literally run into flames to save a person they've never met, just because they're a person with a life. their selflessness is incredible.

Bored Panda drives me crazy!!!!! I read the posts of all the disgusting things people do. I get enraged with the rudeness and entitlement and then you go and post these breathtakingly poignant photos of hope, love, tenderness and life. Well played!!!!
I just did the exact same thing, lol! Thank goodness this is the kind of place that posts more of these kind of (mostly) uplifting pics than the others.
