Unless they put filler in her cheeks and chin - this is NOT the same woman. Chin structure and lips are also different. Even the shape if her head is not the same.

so having a lighter light where they took the after picture is suddenly "looking white"? People need to know how lights work or that there are more shades in the human skin than two.

OMG how SLOW and SIMPLE are y'all??!!!? The first pic is shadowed, the woman is V fair and PROBS dirty (homelessness is A LOT more grimy than one would think!!) sweaty and in need of a good exfoliation/bath. All of this will make her look 'darker' but ALSO, studio lights-flash and ambience lighting- will 'lighten and brighten' the subject being photo'd

Wow! You know what would have been really fun? To have gotten all of these people together at one time, in one big gathering, all together, for a group photo. A before and an after group photo. That would have been amazing!
