No the balcony is level with the front of the roof, it's the wall behind the balcony that's skewed.

The angle of the roof/windows is off... I would have let the porch overhang farther and benefitted more from the shade

Those are actually common in Spain. It's only for lightning and ventilation purposes.

They are called Juliet balconies - an excuse for doors, which are bigger than the window that would have gone there.

Large potted plant on it so not fake. Not big enough for table chairs but still useful.
