Guy Goes Viral By Creating Outfits For Various Historical Times, Even For The Future (34 Pics)
The very idea of time travel has long captivated people's imaginations. Who among us wouldn’t want to go back in time and see what, for example, Napoleon Bonaparte or Julius Caesar really looked like? Or fast forward a year (and then bet all your money on the future Super Bowl winner...) Pretty darn tempting, isn't it?
However, you need to travel through time secretly, without giving yourself away - which means it will be incredibly important to choose the proper costume for the chosen era. Wisdom Kaye, a famous model and influencer, does just that in his viral series of videos on TikTok, and we present to your attention an impressive selection of his historic outfits.

Let's make it clear right away, Wisdom Kaye is not a fashion historian, but a model, whom Vogue aptly called the "best dressed guy on TikTok" a few years ago. Well, perhaps these outfits may not seem so historically consistent to some of you, but in any case, they are very colorful, impressive and reflect the specifics of each era chosen by the original poster.
I love spinning yarn by hand (no not on the spinning wheel. With various methods involving sticks and stones). Do you know how long it takes to make fine yarn of the size of a handkerchief (if woven), let alone this Big Wave of cloth?? He wouldhave been the emperor of the king of the chief of everything to wear this size. (And don't get me started on the colouring 😂)
Ah, yes, the garments woven by Sir Nike, the finest weaver in the land :) Jokes aside, nice outfits!
Yes, some elements of the author’s images look like obvious anachronisms (for example, these stylish sunglasses for the year 1700 outfit), but all these costumes really look very nice, and Wisdom Kaye can now easily claim the unofficial title of “best dressed guy of any era.” Although, if you look at the costumes that the author predicts for the next centuries, they look, in my opinion, a tad bit overly eclectic.
This is obviously after the great collapse and AI uprising.
And what personally has always touched me about people who seriously dream of going back in time is their absolutely concrete confidence that, having found themselves a couple of centuries ago, they will be among, let’s say, the powers that be. The 18th century, in the perception of these people, looks like a whole series of romantic balls and love affairs (yeah, tell that to all the victims of the guillotine during the Great French Revolution), the Middle Ages are tough knights and nothing more, ancient times are wise philosophers talking about the eternal...
Stop! And who can actually guarantee that our brave time travelers will not turn out to be ordinary peasants or workers somewhere in countless copper mines of the past? Moreover, such a probability is much greater (if, of course, the very word “probability” per se is at all applicable to such a concept as time travel)! So the outfits from this collection are simply beautiful, but nothing more than stylish.
This outfit looks not too tight, not too wide and looks as if one could spend a veeeery long working day in it without the need to get rid of it. Classy, IMHO.
Be that as it may, perhaps some travelers from the distant future (when the time machine has long been invented) are already among us, and are reading this collection, smiling slightly to themselves. If so, then please write to me in private messages who won Superbowl LIX in 2025 and with what score (I really need this, just believe me!) and the rest - just scroll this list to the end and please leave your comments here and below the post.
But again: no hat. Practically indecent. (But I loooove the outfit of this time, at least the men's)
It's funny how everyone assumes we'll wear shiny Mylar in the future.
A "Schamkapsel" (codpiece) would highlight the outfit. (As it did back then ❤️🔥👀🤯🥵)
It's a midwest Miami Vice vibe from 1990. And yes, I do remember outfits like this.
Ugh, I'd almost be willing to get TikTok just to follow this guy, I love his sense of style
I don't think we are going mylar and plastic in the future. All that looks too complicated. I think we will be going back to robes and togas. People can't even get out of their PJ's to leave their homes anymore.
Oh my dog, you are absolutely right. I didn't even think about it that way :D
