After my iconic illustration series of world leaders called HIPSTORY, which was previously featured on Bored Panda, I have illustrated my favorite artists: Frida Kahlo, Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali, Vincent Van Gogh, Andy Warhol, and reimagined them as nowadays hipsters.
When looking closely into details, you will notice parts of the icon's journey of life emphasized in the illustration.
HIPSTORY is an ongoing project since 2014 with many more to come.

This is really cool, but I don't think that these artist lived to conform to society. Van Gogh's painting were so unwanted that he burned them to stay alive. Frida Kahlo suffered severe backlash due to her affair with Diego Rivera. Andy Warhol had several severe mental illnesses. They never conformed society, they changed it. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
