“What’s Wrong With Your Dog?”: People Are Sharing Pics Of Their Dogs Acting Bizarre (50 New Pics)
Every time I land in a corner of the internet where no one's arguing, fighting or calling each other names, I savor it. And the subreddit "What's Wrong With Your Dog?" is as pure as they can get.
Like we showed in our first publication on this online community, it's a place where people post pictures of their pets "malfunctioning". I mean, sure, some of them clearly haven't gone through the "Sit" manual and others might need to update their urge control drivers but no error makes these derps anything less than a good boy or a good girl.
Continue scrolling and tell me you're not feeling calmer with each image. I dare you.

Bored Panda got in touch with just-a-traveler, the person who created the subreddit back in 2015, and they were kind enough to tell us more about it. "I made this subreddit because dogs are goofs. Pure hearted, lovable goofs," just-a-traveler said.
"I wanted that folks could have a place to share their [moments from their goof's life] while the rest of us gather around, point and laugh," the Redditor explained.
Since our last article, "What's Wrong With Your Dog?" has crossed the 1 million-member mark and currently has over 1.3 million followers.

"I wanted that folks could have a place to share their [moments from their goof's life] while the rest of us gather around, point and laugh," just-a-traveler explained.
But people aren't laughing at the pooches, they're laughing with them. Like we mentioned before, r/WhatsWrongWithYourDog isn't taunting the dogs or their owners. It doesn't allow posts about injured or dead dogs—as much as people might be heartbroken, it's just not the place for this content. Breed hate and other kinds of (verbal) abuse aren't tolerated either.

"I made a similar subreddit for cats [and Bored Panda already featured it], but the people are passionate about pups too, so when the world gets you down, visit us for eye candy and soul solace."
When it comes to causes of the most popular dog 'malfunctions', just-a-traveler said that mirrors and farts (both their own and their human's) are prime candidates. "Dogs will also sleep in any position as if their bones were jello. They have zero shame and are the best creatures on the planet," just-a-traveler concluded.

That's why he sits like that... so you'll comment on his human knees
Load More Replies...Please check that with vet. Weird uncomfortable sitting position (or playing position without actually playing - butt up and chest on floor) can be due to medical issues. I experienced it with 2 dogs. And I wish I knew that sooner.
I thought that too, the look in his eyes seem to show he is uncomfortable or in pain.

Our old dog loved spicy things too, when she could steal them. Then she would run around with her lips curled up, licking and sneezing. That foxterrier was hardcore. She also manage to bite a solid lead crystal pitcher to pieces because it contained peanuts. Her favourite food were crayons.

Side note: Please research the dog you are thinking of adopting. Most large dogs are WORKING DOGS. You can't leave them alone for 10-12 hours and NOT expect your home to be completely gutted. They need to be walked or taken somewhere that they can run for at least 2-3 hours a day(not all at once) unless you have an immense backyard. Also, PLEASE buy a seat belt for your dog. Okay, thanks for listening.
Yes! Absolutely! People also need to think about how they will manage a sick or injured dog. If you can't pick it up, how can you get it to a vet? What if it goes lame on a walk? I've had that happen with more than one dog and ended up carrying them. Or if a dog is suddenly scared and bolts - big dogs could have you off your feet in seconds and be gone. My parents in laws dog was scared by a clap of thunder and was missing for hours until he returned home - crossing several dangerous roads. Have a dog you can physically manage. Terriers are a stubborn, energetic dog. Springer spaniels are very high energy - it's not always just the big dogs though I agree with everything that Zoe's mum said. Check your life is suitable, see what traits different breeds have. Put the animal first. You may want one, but make sure it is fair for the dog.
Load More Replies...I don't get why people are saying research your dog breed so as to "prevent" these things from happening. Don't know what photos you're looking at, but I'm looking at mostly photos of silly doggy expressions and weird ways of sitting/lying. These things don't need preventing, and researching the breed wouldn't prevent them anyway. Do your research of breeds before you adopt, sure, but that has morning to do with these photos.
Well, maybe it is because the last photo in the list is of that poor, beautiful dog that ate the sofa. Dogs do that when bored, anxious, lonely and often because the owners have a dog they can't cope with, haven't trained, or shouldn't leave alone. People should know what they are getting themselves into before getting a dog yet often it is a whim. Besides, Zoe's Mom wrote 'side note' and can make a separate point, it isn't illegal. Others joined in because they care. It is also vitally important that people really DO research and take the factors raised above into account. Dogs end up in shelters because people liked the way they looked but didn't realise a particular breed had considerable grooming needs or required complex play. I worked in animal welfare for years and have seen the results of humans making stupid choices at the detriment of animals.
