I do this with my almost blind and deaf 17 year old Jack Russell now, just to give her some variation. When she was young she was a total swine, but she's just an old sweetie now.

My cat hates potatoes. If we leave the cupboard open he goes in, searches for the potatoes, drags one out and attacks it. Seriously, it's like; 'what did potatoes ever do to you Pussy? What?'

Please do not have your cat shaved unless there is a vet-approved reason! It's not funny. The cat's body cannot regulate its body temp properly w/o it. In the event it has to be done, please take precautions as advised by your vet. Thx.

How does everything on social media offend somebody? These were were meant to be funny, light-hearted- you know, the way we used to be. It's not like people run around shaving their cats for laughs. I'm sure it was done for valid reasons. Two words - kitty sweater until the fur grows back. But then the "animals in clothes = abuse controversy erupts anew! sigh......

We've had two cats shaved (not at the same time). They both had long fur, they both were incredibly sick from cancer, and they were unable to groom themselves. We tried to take care of the knots, but they were tummy knots and cats don't like having their tummies brushed. (at least ours didn't.) They were both much more comfortable after it...I can't imagine going around with knotted fur. At least they were comfortable before they died. So, there are reasons for it.

Get the cat a size 12 dog sweater. My sister has a Rex and it wears a Father Christmas sweater with a little pointed hood, all year round.

I woke up this morning at 2AM and my shy cat, Glorybee, was snuggled into my arm pit. She looked so adorable that I laughed out loud at her. One way or another one of my two cats make me laugh every day.
