The ‘Welcome to my meme page’ account posts hilarious reviews of animals (and other things) that’ll get you chuckling and make the wait for the weekend seem far easier. We’ve collected some of the best new reviews for you to read through. So go on! Have a scroll through them and upvote your fave ones. It’s the animal kingdom presented in a way that you (probably!) haven’t seen before!

Psst, make sure you check out Bored Panda's earlier article about WTMMP’s hilarious content right over here when you’re done.

There’s just something magical about reviewing things, isn’t there? You give your own personal judgment about something for all to see and, hopefully, to marvel at. Wow, look at that, your opinion can go on to influence dozens of people (or more like hundreds of thousands if you’re WTMMP)! A well-written review should be objective, nuanced, and striking. However, there’s something to be said for purely comic reviews that are biased to the point of hilarity on purpose. It’s my kind of humor and I’m awed.

Wow! Mind blown. I think I might be a barnacle. Since lockdown I have done nothing, but expected food. It's at least my spirit animal.

Odds are, you’re likely to have seen some of WTMMP’s animal reviews without even realizing it while you were browsing through your social media feeds. Personally, I stumbled across the account completely by accident and it’s been making me smile ever since.

Charlie, the founder of WTMMP and the brains behind the whole animal reviews project, focuses on spreading cheer and making people laugh with his antics. It’s pretty hilarious to see him show us animals from a completely different perspective. If you’ve got any friends who are biologists or animal-lovers, you’ll want to show them these images. They’ll thank you for it!

“I've been trying out different sorts of comedy writing formats for a while,” Charlie, the founder of the ‘Welcome to my meme page’ page told Bored Panda in an interview two and a half years ago.

Charlie opened up about how his inspiration is pretty much cosmic and not up to him. “Ideas come out of nowhere. One day I thought a funny review of Snakes would be hilarious and it got very popular, and I realized I could probably do a lot more of these without it getting too old,” he opened up.

Charlie is actually a full-time writer by trade! So wordsmithing is something that’s in his blood and funny descriptions come to him quite naturally because he’s had plenty of experience. “I am a full-time writer—people seem to enjoy my stuff, and I somehow can attract an audience online with my sense of humor, so it seemed foolish not to try and see where I can take that,” he told Bored Panda about his journey toward internet comedy.

“My stuff helped me land me a job as a script intern on Conan for my last semester of college, and something about my experience working there and getting to talk to professional writers and comedians told me that I ought to try this for real. Books and games are in the works!” Charlie shared.

You got to add a star for the cool motion they swim in, though.

Charlie launched the ‘Welcome to my meme page’ project in mid-August of 2015. He started off with a Facebook page and eventually moved to Instagram and Twitter two years later in 2017.

The founder of WTMMP got the idea to create animal reviews only in 2018, a whole three years after launching his project in the first place. His very first review was about snakes (they got 4 stars for dedication and respect, but were a star short of the perfect review because they were untrustworthy; really, who could argue with that?).

Currently, Charlie has nearly 350k followers on Facebook, 92.8k fans on Instagram, as well as 34.7k meme-loving followers on the WTMMP Twitter page (in the latter, he calls himself ‘His Eminence’). If you like his stuff, you can support him on Patreon. Other than that, be sure to give him a follow on his social media accounts if you enjoyed his stuff as much as we did.

Octopuses are aliens who are just hanging out in the oceans, waiting for humans to exterminate themselves with idiocy, at which point they will take over. At our current rate, this will occur in the near future.

I would be interested in meeting the millions of people who never tire of singing Dirt's(love how they capitalized it) praises from sun-up to sundown.
