I am an editorial illustrator that works in publishing and advertisement. The goal with my illustrations is to help the viewer think deeply about the text. Articles can be cold—merely reporting facts or sharing a story without the personal details. My illustrations allow you to understand the article on a personal level, making it easier to connect to and adding a deeper layer to the piece. Enjoy!

Parenting In The Screen Age
As dangerous as leaving a child near a pool without supervision, love it but it also frightens me
I see this a lot and have to disagree with it. It's grossly exaggerated how parents just throw their kids into the internet. Yes, kids have tablets and smartphones. But for the most part, these too are helpful tools they will need to learn to operate in our increasingly digital world. I grew up with an ancient computer program and learned multiplication and other academic feats waaaay faster than my classmates because it was in the form of computer games, and I'd often feel incentive to play even after my homework was done. There are a lot of dangers (as with any parenting tool/method), but the whole "screen=bad" is overplayed.
I would love to tell you all the horrors my family has gone through because the internet. Frankly I don't think it's talked about enough. Just because things were fine when you were a kid doesn't mean that they are now. Also just because you don't know any kids struggling because of the internet doesn't mean there aren't tons who are living nightmare scenarios.

This is the same material that is always posted on BP. The only one that is different is the arrow one. That's clever. But all of these are a regurgitation of previous posts.
So simple but effective, I would love to see you do some work about your hope regarding the futur :)
