Kronk from the Emperor's New Groove. More of a side-villain but I guess that's why he got his own movie afterwards.
Hermione Granger from the Harry Pottter movies. Now I know that Harry is The Boy Who Lived, but he was as observent as a brick wall. He didn't notice Hermione time-travelling, or Snape's handwriting, which has been in his classroom for 6 years, or even that he's magic! 11 years of glass disappearing and he thought it just happened? Hermione, on the other hand, is really smart, both academically and emotionally (most of the time). Her original fault is obnoxiousness, but after first year she stops that. She is a bit of a show-off, but it's fairly minor. Harry, on the other hand, snaps at everyone, especially in 5th year. He constantly underestimates Ginny, Luna, and Neville. I know he goes through a lot of stress, but honestly, other than Goblet of Fire, Hermione goes through them too. If you disagree, please tell me why in the comments (omg i feel like a youtuber). But seriously, I'd love to hear your opinions.
Yeah..... reading the books, Harry seemed kind of oblivious. Maybe his head trauma from the scar gave him some mental processing issues? Also, why didnt dumbledore or mcgonagall any other adult give him medical treatment after he survived a DARK LORD shooting a KILLING CURSE at his head?
Literally any of the 3 sidekicks in the Little Mermaid. Flounder is so loyal and supportive. Scuttle always has good advice and makes the movie 100x funnier. Sebastian is charismatic, hilarious, and has the best lines/songs in the movie while Ariel goes derping around, selling her voice to a witch and trying to make some oblivious dude fall in love with her.
Ron Weasley from Harry Potter. He was so kind and caring and without him Harry would be a loner with a UGLY MALFOYYY for a friend.
Rorschach in Watchmen. Dr. Manhattan was the main character, in my opinion. Why was Rorschach better? Well, Manhattan was very passive for the main character, and Rorschach gave a human perspective on things. I know Rorschach wasn't a clear-cut sidekick, but he was a side character for sure.
Cosmo from "Singin' in the Rain". He came up with the idea for the musical, and its name, and the idea for putting Kathy's voice over Lina's. And he can do a running backflip off a wall.
Samwise Gamgee( I think I spelled it wrong). Frodo’s great but Sam did a lot more work.
also PO-TA-TOES
Book perspective, Frodo's rubbish. Film perspective, Frodo was s**te. Sammy boy was always the true hero.
