Let me just say one word. IKEA. My second trip to IKEA ever. I had My 2 daughters and my grandchildren (1 and 3) with me. Granddaughter was “starving” and we couldn’t for the life of us find the cafe. After a hellish 3 hours which included finding the bazillion parts needed for a CURTAIN ROD, finding the cafe after paying and then having to go back through the entire store to get back to the exit 😫 we finally navigated the exit to the parking lot. Then there was the maze of concrete bumpers that were not centered to the parking spot. My daughter and I lifted the box for the ikea shelf and started around the concrete pole to get to my trunk. Didn’t I hit the bumper with the back of my foot, go up in the air and boom. Down I fell, shelf and all. Couldn’t quite feel my hand, wrist was wrenched, covered in grease, and my biggest worry? Was the shelf broken, because I would have rather been hung by my fingernails than go back through that store 😂

Back in the 70s, walking across an empty wooden dance floor (to get to the bar, not even tipsy as an excuse) Wearing platform shoes, I skidded & ended up splayed across the floor, much to everyone’s amusement and my embarrassment. So I got up and took a bow! (Applause all round!👏🏻😁)

At my classroom. I still cringe to this day. I was in fifth grade, foolishly leaning back on my chair (it was a bad habit for me at the time), when I lost my balance and tipped over, nearly bringing my desk down with me. The whole class was looking at me, in awkward silence. My teacher helped me up, asked me if I was okay, and proceeded with teaching the class, not wanting to bring a lot of attention to the embarrassing situation, which I was grateful for. I was the new girl in class, and I had made quite the impression.

This kinda counts I guess...

Hit a Saguaro cactus -face first- at about 100 MPH after a HALO jump.
Do Not Recommend.

The floor just loves hugs so much that I'm not even embarrassed anymore. I think the one that I used to get embarrassed by was when I went down a flight of carpeted stairs at a church. I had been wearing a skirt and I wasn't by the time I got to the bottom. I had never been to that church before, it was my Aunt's church, but it still gets brought up sometimes.
