Hey Pandas, Tell Us About A Time When Your Neighbors Were Being Unreasonable? (Closed)
I felt "inspired" by a similar post and decided to make my own post so that others could share their stories.

The time that some idiots that lived behind me were throwing knives at my tree (that is very old)
The time they decided to change the Wi-Fi password ;-;
My daughter and my neighbors son ride the same bus in the mornings. The bus stop is like 5 feet away from my house but my neighbor has to walk to the stop from her house. When it's cold out my daughter and I usually wait on our front porch near the door for warmth and she will run to the bus stop when we hear it coming. Well apparently that was a big no-no to my neighbor and she came up to me to tell me what I can and cannot do. Her literal words were "Do you think it's fair that I wait at the bus stop with my kid and you get to wait on your porch, do you think that's fair to me? Do you have a problem with me or something?"
I don't even speak to this lady. All we say is good morning to each other and nothing else so I definitely didn't have a problem with her. I told her the only reason why we are waiting right here is because we are cold and it has nothing to do with you. She continued to tell me how it was rude and unfair for me to stand up here and if I thought it would be fair if everybody waited for the bus at their house. First off, we are the only 2 waiting at this bus stop so who is everybody, and second, I wouldn't give a f**k if they teleported their kids to school, it's not my business.
She kept telling me how entitled I thought I was and it was a mistake talking to me because I didn't get it. You damn right I don't get it!!! You guys she doesn't even have to walk to the bus stop, the bus rides right past her house and I have seen her son run out the house and jump on the bus. I have even talked to the bus driver to ask him if I was inconveniencing him with my daughter running from the house, he said "no but that other lady sure hates it" lol.
Ooh I have two from two different neighbors.
We live on a private lane, so any roadwork is up to us. Every so often we repave the road. Our one neighbors have never contributed money for it, which is fine because they don’t have as much money, however, last year they decided they wanted their driveway paved along with the rest of ours. They refused to pay anything for it. We told them we’re very sorry but we’re paying for the entire road and our driveways, the least they can do is pay for their driveway. They tried to say they’d help out more with maintenance, but wouldn’t pay for it. After long discussions, they agreed to pay half of the money for it. In response, half of their driveway got paved. They bought 2 new cars afterwards, they could’ve paid for it.
Our other neighbors down the street more used to make money by buying and selling things. In the summer, they would hold large garage sales for the items. The neighbors next door to them got mad and called the cops on them. They had to shut it down immediately as they had hosted more than 2 a year, which is the law supposedly. They were literally cancer stricken people who couldn’t hold a job due to the amount of time in and out of hospitals just trying to make some money, let them be ffs
They kept cutting off tree branches in our yard and mowing our lawn after we told them to stop then a few months later they dumped a pile of sticks into our property!
When our neighbour in the flat (apartment) below us was club DJ...who just loved to practise his "sets" at all hours of the day and night. A whole year of that and I ended up having to take sleeping tablets to get any rest. The worst part was there was no pattern to when he did it, so trying to get evidence of any noise nuisance for the local council was impossible. And the waiting for it to happen was almost as bad as the noise itself.
Once my across the street neighbor saw a package get delivered to our house. She came over right away to make sure it was OUR package, not hers. I assured her it was. She went home. 10 seconds later her husband came stomping across the street, and he was livid. He demanded to know if the package I received was his. Obviously he thought his wife and I were in cahoots and were lying to him. His wife was so embarrassed. I assured him that it was indeed MY package and he reluctantly left. I could tell he didn't believe me. We had just moved in and yeah, they don't know me, but I don't steal packages and lie about it. They've never been friendly people.
I had a psycho neighbour below me who came up pounding at my door while I was cleaning my kitchen after supper. It wasn't even 6pm yet. He accused me of stomping and being too loud. Kept changing is claims from all day to all week. He threatened to call the police on me if he heard us again. I continued doing what I was doing, thinking how ridiculous he was being. I lived here for years and this guy just moved in a few months prior to his tantrum with me. Not even 30 minutes later he comes pounding at my door. I didn't answer this time and called the caretaker and the police. No one came but he didn't come up again until the next day. But during that time I could hear him slamming and stomping down there, and shouting. The next day I had pretty much had a resting day and slept until he came by pounding and kicking door. I called the police again and the caretaker. This time they came pretty quick. They got my side first and then went down to go to talk to him. The floors are thin.
Thin enough to be able to hear what people below us are talking about if you listen carefully. We heard him shout "She called the f*****g cops." right when they knocked on his door. LOL Not exactly a bright idea. We heard him complaining to the police about us walking and cleaning during the day. The police were not having it. Even telling the guy "We're not the caretakers." and he was complaining how I wouldn't answer the door to him after the 1st time and the police said "How would you like it if the guy below you came up pounding on your door?" I think they left giving him a warning. A week passed and I get a knock on my door. I knew the guy was banned from coming up to my floor. It was his mom. He sent his mom up to talk to me. I talked her. Apparently her son has some sort of mental disorder and certain noises set him off. Not my problem. He must have gotten kicked out. He was gone a month or 2 later.
Load More Replies...My next door neighbours when I was a kid had a son my age, that my brother and I often played with. One of the things we regularly played together was Lego. When I was about 13 there was a big fight between the three of us to do with Lego. I can't remember exactly what happened, but one of us accused the others of stealing Lego. This probably would have all been forgotten if their parents didn't get involved, but they caused a huge fight and we didn't really speak to them for about 10 years. Then the really weird thing, when my parents were moving house (after living there for 20+ years) the father came over and helped us pack a lot of the outdoor stuff and was really nice and said how much he was going to miss us!
