My rule is: if they hurt you once, tell them. If they hurt you again, leave. I learnt this the very hard way, after having been hurt over and over by the same person, and forgiving them again and again after a while or after claims they changed.

"Giving someone a second chance is like handing them an extra bullet since they missed you the first time." red this somewhere at the internet and I think its very true.

So I was helping her and one of my other friends babysit said friend’s little brothers. We were playing uno and I was playfully flicking him with my cards. (He’s 11 for context) He gets irritated at me and tries to actually hit me for real. When I try to block him, I accidentally scratch him because I have long nails. My friend then twisted the story to her mom and told her I had beaten him up. This seems like you could let it go right? The thing is, I could have had charges pressed on me for something I didn’t even do. And she’s always done stuff like this, she takes any opportunity to throw me under the bus. Her mom thinks she’s a perfect little angel, so she’s pretty much hopeless. This was very recently and I have since begun to drift away from her.
