My kitty cats name is Casanova. We saved him from getting hit by a car. My mom too him into her office (she's a principal) and some girls came in. The shrieked and came on started petting him. They adored him. All the girls that met him fell in love with him (not like that)so we decided to name him Casanova.

Our big German shepherd-golden retriever mix used to be named Bourbon, but my siblings and I were pretty young at the time (between the ages of two and eight) and my parents were like "It'd be pretty weird if our kids went around school talkin' bout how they got Bourbon after school", so we renamed him Buddy and he is beautiful and majestic now.

My chihuahua's name is Tink because since she's the smallest chihuahua in her litter because she's the runt. Tink is sort of like Tinkerbell, and Tinkerbell is a tiny fairy just like my dog! (Except fairies don't like rolling in horse poop.)

When I was about 6 or 7 a stray kitten came along and never left, I called her Sylvester. A few years later I got a canary and called it Tweety... lol. Not so funny was that this Sylvester did get the bird...
I had a kitten and her name was Maculata, she was a tortoise. On friday the 13th I choose a black cat from the shelter and named her Medusa. And then I got a cat and called her Morgana. Her face was half black, half golden colour. She looked like the stepsister from King Arthur.

My dog's name is Buddy because it was better than the name he came with (Rolphe) and because it is easy for my handicapped uncle to pronounce.

My Corgi's name is Link as in the elf like hero of the Legend of Zelda video games. I named him that because according to welsh folklore Corgis were used by fairies transportation and to pull carts. In the games Link would carry fairies to heal himself. My last Corgi who died several years ago was named Tinkerbell but I didn't know the folklore when I named her. She was a runt and we put a bell on her so we would know where she was. As she ran around the bell would go tink, tink, tink. The Great Dane is names Quinne because she is a Harlequin Dane with a lot of love.

    My dog is named Lucy

We got her as a rescue a couple of years ago and I was ELATED. I had been begging for a dog for a long time but my family had allergies and a dog was too much of a commitment for them at the time. But, my mom said if I did allergy shots for a few years, she would let me. After all of the articles about breeds of dogs and why I needed one (srsly, hmu if you need any convincing articles about why you need a dog, I've got TONS) and crying forever about not having one, hits started popping up from my mom... "Hey, honey. My friend is getting a dog." "Who?" "No one you would know." "Well, what's she looking for?" "I think a hypoallergenic dog. What's your favorite breed?" and "Would you guys be okay with getting a big present early and having a small Christmas this year?", other stuff like that. And as always, Christmas never got smaller (I don't know why they ever bothered saying that, I mean, Santa, right!?) Anyway, one day my parents said we were going hiking. I didn't really want to go, but I gathered my gear to go. We like hiking and all have pretty nice gear, so we had a lot. Thankfully I brought a change of clothes because I hated the outfit my mom made me wear to hike in and I'm glad! We went opposite the mountains (We live fairly close and have a house up there) so I was confused. I knew they lied, but I still was clueless about what we were doing. There was a theme park really close to where we were going, though, so I figured that was the surprise, but why would they tell us we were hiking and bring all of this gear? Moving on, my mom asked us to drop her off at Home Depot which was next to PetSmart (We didn't get our dog from there, that was just a dog -friendly place we could meet up at to pick up Lucy.). My dad drove my brother and me to Starbucks for some treats, so the day was already fabulous! After we drove back and pulled into PetSmart. My dad said my mom needed to use the restroom, but I knew he lied since Home Depot has to have one! We got out of the car and right as we got to the door my mom walked out with a puppy on a leash. Her name was originally Gabby but we changed it to Lucy because we had always decided if we had a puppy we'd name her Lucy (for a girl). She was six months old and didn't know her name, so that's why we changed it. She was horrible at first (she wasn't trained AT ALL) but now she's the best, sweetest puppy ever and LOVES everyone and everything!

I don't have any pets at the moment, but my favorite pet that I ever owned her name was Paddy and she was named such because her birthday was March 17th. She was my absolute best friend from 2nd grade until my 9th grade year. It crushed me when she died.

Lily, one of our cats, had that name when we got her and didn't want to confuse her by changing it.

Tee Tee, the other cat, is half white and half dark gray. Tee Tee is short for two toned.

My cat—the late, great Petrushka—was named after the ballet by Igor Stravinsky where a puppet (Petrushka) comes to life to woo a ballerina. I love Stravinsky and I love ballet, so it was really a no-brainer.
