Cell phones being used, while I’m trying to teach. They can be a great tool, if used appropriately, but they’re often a distraction. One biggest pet peeves is having a student put down their cell phone and then ask, “So, what are we doing?” Right after I’ve finished explaining what we’re doing. (Insert double rye roll.)

Too many flippin instructions. I just want to turn the tv on - instead I have to sort out the amp, the sky/bt box, sign into something, tell the tv I’m old enough to watch the show blah blah blah.
Don’t get me started on connecting the washing machine to the WiFi just so I schedule a delayed time wash!!!

I can work a phone like a genius. I can work our company programs just fine. But When it comes to my home computer. My brain goes. Uhhhhh nope. Understanding the ways computer system works is a challenge for me sometimes. And I’m in my 30’s and my dad builds computers for fun…. Sigh.

Planned obsolescence - it's bad enough that electronics are so expensive and increasingly neccessary, but this concept is bad for everyone and the planet, and only benefit the manufacturers.
