Drawing mice! 🐁
Perfection. Fortunately, my wife tells me she doesn’t like anything perfect, because discrepancies make things unique. This holds me together. She has literally saved me many hours pondering over nothing.
Sorry, I can't edit my comment. I meant to say 'faults' instead of 'discrepancies'. Thank you.
I have to watch scary movies: less gore and more supernatural. 95% of them are terrible, but have I seen them? The answer is yes.
I have a problem focusing for long on one obsession. I run around becoming a jack of all trades but not mastering any of them. I think three that are constant and consistent would be, mummies, prepping and learning.
Weird but true I love to learn. I'm constantly following researching or looking something up. Anything is liable to send me on a research binge. This prompted me to get the supreme court transcript on the Amistad trial which I've read the entire thing more than once.
Prepping more so in the information not like I'm hording food for the end of days. I have a kit I'm still putting together. My mom was pretty paranoid so it's rubbed enough off on me that I have to have my small kit but I'm not planning or hording like she did. I do have small portable notebooks filled with useful information just in case. Water purification, filtration, how to make chlorine, lye (including a leeching barrel set up), fire sources, homemade tools, tinctures, etc. Things I can make later if needed and not something I'll need on me. I can open a can without a can opener or knife, stuff like that.
Mummies will always be one of my most favorite things on this planet. Nature made or human made. There's so many cultures world wide that did it and the lengths they went to. The Pompeii bodies will always be volcano mummies to me despite the fact that they're basically plaster casts now. Mummies are awesome.
All of this sounds totally normal to me; the question is should I now be worried about me?
Video games and TV series. Especially Supernatural. Watched all the episodes at least 4 times.
dun dun, waaaaaaaah! my favorite was during the credit roll one episode, Dean swung his leg up and played it like an air guitar.
No Doubt! I could listen to their music for hours! And I have too :)
I am obsessed with composting!! It’s crazy, but as a gardener it’s like some kind of voodoo magic to create this amazing material from apple cores and coffee grinds etc. And to see the difference in my garden soil because of it? Obsessed!!!
Crime stories (serial killers in particular)
I watch Youtube Channels about it, listen to podcasts, read book, and watch TV shows. My friends make jokes about the fact that i'll 100% be a suspect if something happen to someone near me
you will 100% be the person who solves the crime before anyone else!
Baguettes. I will buy 3 baguettes every week and walk around my house just chomping on them. Literally holding a whole baguette in one hand and a duster in the other. I’m weird I know.
Bored Panda, Clash of Clans and motorbikes
I go through fazses of being totally obsessed with Bored Panda, then I come too my senses 😁
drawing. I have a stack of paper in every room;-;
Books. I could easily live in a Barnes and Noble
My Dog Shilo. I love him so much.
Chocolate. Dark Chocolate. Plain. Bars. Chocolate Chips . . . chocolate in the morning, chocolate in the evening, chocolate after supper time -- choco when it's raining; choco when it's snowing; choco when the weather's fine. I use chocolate as a midday stimulate, I have chocolate at long movies. For any old celebration, depression, hello or goodbye . . . it's CHOCOLATE!
The Dream SMP, If you dont know what it is its a popular Minecraft server and I am insanely hyper-fixated on it.
YES. finally (after all those years) there is a post about the DSMP on Bored Panda!
Undertale anything! Art, stories, everything except sans x papyrus ship art. THEY’RE BROTHERS!!
And hunger games.
Idk where to staaarrrt.... reading, Minecraft, Wings Of Fire, Stargate, Star trek, Doctor Who, drawing, crafts and jewelry, birds, animals, plants, Spore (another game), mythologies (i am almost completely obsessed with Egyptian mythology. Quiz me about it and i will answer correctly), the Dark Crystal, prehistoric things, many other things that i forgot to mention, ect ect ect ect ect ect.
Audiobooks. I listen every time I get into the car. The thought of driving without one cause a mild panic attack.
Probably birds. I currently have 5 feather babies that are me and my fiance's. Plus 3 babies (love birds) we are hand raising and will be keeping one bringing our total to 6. We would have 7 but one of our rescues tragically passed away last weekend. My oldest daughter (19) has 4 feather babies of her own but still lives at home so we have a grand total of 12 in the house right now. I can never say no to a rescue and my dream one day will be to run a rescue / hospice. I've seen too many Birds be put down because they have cancer. Don't get me wrong if they're in pain, ok but if they can live out their days happy in a loving environment with their pain being managed why not? Recently I knew of a bird and his mate being put down because he had cancer and she wouldn't have lived without him but was perfectly healthy. It broke my heart and that's when I came up with the hospice idea. People often wonder why I'm so obsessed and all I can say is imagine a dog who talks back to you and purposely makes you laugh when your sad. It's amazing. People think birds are stupid and messy. They aren't. (ok sometimes messy) they are way smarter than people think and I love to educate about it. WE have many other animals too don't get me wrong, we have a leopard Gecko, 2 doggos, a chameleon, a beardie and a snake. But my birds.... those are my obsession. In case you're wondering, here they are: me and Fiance's babies.

Checking social media at work. Hard to be productive if I feel like I'm missing some major event.
Drawing pictures of anime girls.
Is that creepy or...
Nope, it's cool. My sister is lesbian and she draws things like that all the time.
I have a few.
AJR, elephants, and snow globes.
Korean dramas! Action, crime, medical, historical, slice of life, even romantic comedies a little bit. Unlike American television shows which go on often times too many seasons the Korean prime time dramas tend to give you one good season and that's it. I spend a lot of time trying to figure out what other dramas I've seen actors in, which is also fun. Along the way I have learned a little bit about Korean food, history, culture, and language!
I like Korean TV and movies, too. The ones that I've seen are fun because the culture is different and they have different perspectives and priorities.
I obsess over any crush I have at the time-
Right now, I have a crush on a music freak.
He plays at least 3 instruments, and has music lessons every other day
Lol, same here, and my sister is the same. We have crushes on fictional characters, and when we do, we obsess about them.
Beautiful, natural, naked women. I’m not a perv nor a womanizer. In fact, I respect women every bit as much, if not at least half the time more than men. I don’t expect women to live up to a physical ideal. I don’t leer, cat call nor objectify women. But still, I see a beautiful, natural, naked woman as a work of art.
Any guy who has to tell women he respects women, definitely doesn't respect women.
Birds! I can't get enough of those little guys, they're cute, intelligent and make great friends if you're prepared to care for one :)
Just remember, if you want to get a bird, or any pet, remember to do your research first!
YouTube videos on UFOs/USOs and extraterrestrial activities 🛸 .Also videos on natural disasters/phenomenons
Having the Bible proved true almost daily in archaeological discoveries and watching the end time events line up in the news all the time. Getting lost on Bored Panda for hours. Crocheting and designing crochet patterns and now adult coloring books with colored pencils and gel pens. Watching videos on coloring techniques. Pool table coming Friday, so probably that too, as I like to be good at what I attempt, and I want to provide some competition for my husband who already plays. Anything cat related too.
How physicists are hampering their quest for a Grand Unification Theory by their hunt for quantum gravity. At best, gravitons are a placeholder for the interaction between quantum matter, quantum space, and (probably) quantum velocity (maybe quantum time, too). Oh...am I a physicist? Of course not!
1. The Dream SMP (A famous kind-of scripted Minecraft Server that contains a lot of shenanigans)
2. These eras - Victorian, Elizabethan, Edwardian, Georgian, 1920s, 30s, 50s, 60s, 70s (random I know)
3. Cosplaying (especially Dream SMP characters)
you can probably tell 1 and 3 from my name
True crime videos and podcasts
Tangled the series. I know, I know, it's a "kids show", but the plot lines are amazing, the character development is the best, (except King Fredrick. Hate that guy) the voice actors are all phenomenal, (looking at you Jeremy Jordan) and Varian is just the greatest character ever created, his charcter arch is the best I've ever seen, and he's only 14 in the show! I honestly have no clue how it is rated PG though. Some seriously dark stuff happens in that show. *Cough cough* Varian
Haven't really watched much of this show, but I am a fan of many of the recent cartoon shows Disney has put out and I did like the movie, so I should get around to this one.
I think you just wanted one but I have a few: my kids, my grandkids, Christmas, collecting things that serve no purpose but sit on a shelf (Disney Villians, Pee wee, Wizard of oz, Los angeles Rams), always trying new things that I think I can do not thinking to just perfect my skill at one before moving on to another (and not considering the cost for each new venture). There is probably more but i think this is a good start.
morbid things, like bones. whenever I go hiking or exploring I often come home with something
Making lists. And dogs. Not that they’re always helpful, my lists, but I code them, color them, categorize them, and spend way too much time on them. As for dogs, they’re always helpful. I met my wife talking about her dog. Dogs are the best. One day I’ll make a list of reasons why.
A lot of things, but TVTropes has to be one of them. I often spend long hours on that site, looking at tropes and how they fit into various pieces of media.
True crime movies! I am obsessed with them, but at the same time I am getting more and more paranoic.
I'm a little obsessed with collecting figurines.
Love spicy food, kind of an addict.
Sandbox games.
Reading boredpanda.
haha...mermaiding. I work part-time at an aquarium as a mermaid. Recently someone came to a pool I was at with a tail and I recognized her tail as a Mertailor whimsy 3 coral cove right away just by looking at it. and I don't even own a Mertailor. Mermaiding is one of my favorite hobbies I wouldn't give up for the world!
Knitting. It's useful, it's constructive, it keeps me from getting bored -- what's not to like? (Other than the yarn bills, which my husband does bring up now and then....but since I'm earning the money, he doesn't complain, just mentions!)
To me obsessions are okay so long as it's not stalking someone. It's cool to like something and really be into it; however I've never had those emotions of feelings for anything, sometimes it makes me sad that I really don't love any to that extant.
