I have made this post to share and receive advice for book writing so all authors and writers can get some great advice!

#1

I have tons of advice for you guys!

#1: When creating characters, it is very important to make their names based off their appearance, personality, qualities, etc. So instead of naming the wise and smart female “Samantha”, name her “Sophia” which I believe means wise (though I could be wrong)

#2: When writing a book, you will NEVER finish it unless you complete the first draft. No matter how many grammar mistakes, bad plots, or whatever it is, FINISH IT!!!! You can add on/remove anything in your second draft later! And yes, most, if not all, professional authors will give the same advice.

#3: If you’re making a fantasy book, plan way before hand. I’m not saying this doesn’t apply to other genres as well, but I only write fantasy so I can only give firsthand experience. Plan what the world climate is like, what the culture is like, what the biology is like. It’s very important to plan beforehand, and remember, you can always add on during the second draft.

That’s it for now, maybe I’ll give some more advice later.

Ask others to read your work and give feedback on it, but don’t let it get to the extent that you’re just writing their story. But having people look over it can help you find out if your story makes sense, help you bounce around ideas, and improve things in ways you couldn’t come up with on your own.

ok so if your going for action you have to make the main person the favorite and kill them in the end (that is how that works im sorry
love story's have to have a HUGE plot twist like the girl is going to marry jimmy but on the wedding day she runs away with bob to marry him instead and then they get married but then jimmy shows up and sees her and she gets a divorce with bob and gets back with jimmy...... if that made any sense at all then you are amazing at paying attention and being able to keep up with ADHD brain
well have a good day have an amazing day hope its filled with joy and laughter and everything in between
