I need new fun facts to fuel me in the coming year.

Goats have accents. Goats cannot understand goats from different countries because of their accents.

That before the Industrial Revolution, people had a totally different sleeping pattern - sleep early, then wake at like 2am and get up for a couple of hours to do chores, then back to sleep until morning. Crazy that we had such a fundamentally different way of living before constant artificial light and intensive modern work and stress.

Greenland sharks can live to over 400 years old!
Apparently sharks also like heavy metal music which is cool, divers play it to them and they like the noise šŸ˜„šŸ¦ˆ

I have several.

Rubber bands last longer when refrigerated.
Wearing headphones for just an hour could increase the bacteria in your ear by 700 times.
Cat urine glows under a black light.
Rabbits can't be sick! It's just the way the long-eared rodents are built. Due to their diet and digestive system, rabbits physically can't be sick and wouldn't know how to, even if they could.
Humans are the only animals to blush.
The Effiel Tower grows 6 inches in the summer (you might grow a millimeter or two, but not that drastically).
Sloths don't fart. (wish I couldn't either, would save me SO MUCH embarrassment)

And my favorite:
Space smells! (I KNOW, THIS ONE IS SO WEIRD)

The doomsday algorithm by John Conway. Itā€™s too complex to explain here, but once you can do it, it goes pretty quickly.

Maybe I shouldā€™ve added what it is. Itā€™s an algorithm to give the day of the week for any given date.

Last year I learned that lemon erases highlighter ink and orange chicken is made with actual oranges or orange juice

Also this is very off topic but I am new here and every time I try to comment it says something went wrong. Its very frustrating and any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

The Chicago Tylenol murders were a series of poisoning deaths resulting from drug tampering in the Chicago metropolitan area in 1982. The victims had all taken Tylenol-branded acetaminophen capsules that had been laced with potassium cyanide. Seven people died in the original poisonings, with several more deaths in subsequent copycat crimes. Credit to Wikipedia

Kids like 4-7 don't understand same amounts. Like if you have a tall glass and a short stubby glass both with 100 milligrams of water and ask them which one has more water. They will point the the stubby one thinking it's bigger. You can actually put the water into a cup that looks the exact same and they will say it's the same, then put it back into the old cups and they will say that a certain one is bigger, even though you just proved it's the same amount of water to them

We're no strangers to love
You know the rules and so do I (do I)
A full commitment's what I'm thinking of
You wouldn't get this from any other guy
I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling
Gotta make you understand
Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
We've known each other for so long
Your heart's been aching, but you're too shy to say it (say it)
Inside, we both know what's been going on (going on)
We know the game and we're gonna play it
And if you ask me how I'm feeling
Don't tell me you're too blind to see
Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
