Everyone in middle school is trying to grow up. My teacher once said that is why she prefers MS over HS, because kids are the perfect mix of immature and mature. Give me a funny perspective on the whole concept and the kids these days.

I have stories, lots of them
1. The absolute war between this one group of 8th graders and admin, this group set out to cause the most trouble possible, they called themselves the "Anti-Admin league"
2. Every time it snowed there was a warzone during passing period
3. We had 15 food fights one year, they were massive.
4. The assassin games, these were school wide involving classic school weapons such as the bic pen crossbow, the hornet, the classic rubber band gun, the pen muskets, and the elusive paperclip rifle. These games of assassin were dreaded by the administration

I am a mixed nation kid, my mom was born in Moldova and my dad was born in Ukraine. I was born here, in America. When I was in 6th grade I took ice skating lessons and I would often go to the public sessions to practice. One time I went with my older brother and his girlfriend, we skated for a while, then my brother and his girlfriend left me at the rink to go get ice cream at a nearby gas station. I didn't have a phone, so I couldn't call either of them, so I looked around to see if i can call my brother from a stranger's phone. I came up to a group of Russian/Ukrainian kids. I asked one of the teenage girls (in English) if I could borrow her phone to call someone. She agreed, but her friends started laughing and joking (in Russian) while I was dialing my brother's phone number. They said something like this: "What, did her parents not teach her? Ugly people don't talk to people like us" and "Why is she such a dumbass b***h?" ,I didn't respond and continued dialing. When my brother answered I calmly said ( in Russian) "Where are you? I have a headache, can you come back to the rink?" The kids that were saying rude remarks about me had an expression that I will never forget.

The play-fights in between the two classrooms. People were bowling others over and just being absolute nut-jobs. .

Well, my middle school experience was very.... unique.

1. The boys bathrooms were like war zones. Almost every single day, something was wrong. Either it was a shiit in the urinal, a shoe clogging a toilet, or wads of toilet paper on ceiling.
2. Chocolate milk cartons can be seriously misused by teens and pre-teens: people used to throw them hard onto the concrete, making large stains on the concrete.
3. Boys doing really stupid non-food/bathroom related stuff. One of my friends made a video of him sticking his hand into a colony of about a few hundred thousand fire ants on the last day of school.
4. Online nonsense. Whatever you do, do not do stupid stuff on the school discord. (don't ask what i made a guy do that got him banned that almost got me in a fight.)

Middle school is a totally 100% fun place that is safe for everyone. Totally.
