... There were instruments on fire, beach balls, go-go, in a place possibly the size of your apartment , maybe late 90's.

I saw The Ramones in 1995 at The Chance in Poughkeepsie NY. Then I saw DHS with The Casualties in Manchester NH in 1996. Two best shows of my life.

Loren Connors sitting on a chair in middle of floor on a Sunday afternoon in a dark bar with 20 folks just hanging around. Grouper, Tim Hecker, Rhys Chatham, etc etc

NoN in an ex church on lower east side informing the audience that Anton Lavey had died. There was an audible gasp from the crowd. He said "People used to say 'Boyd, your music is too harsh', Anton told me ' Boyd, your music is not harsh enough'". Then proceeded to , what seemed to be , blow several whistles (dog whistle? coach's?) into an octaved mic looping at full volume.. it eventually dropped almost all to a knee. Fun.
