We read and hear thousands of things every day, but what's something you remember vividly? It could be a song lyric, a line from a book, or just something someone said.

This random line from Prisoner of Azkaban:

"Only two out of three, not up to your usual standard at all, Hermione. I have not been helping Sirius into the castle, and I certainly don't want Harry dead. However, I will not deny that I am a werewolf."

I'm in my mid-60's but when I was a kid living in Seattle, there was a local store that had a catchy jingle that included their phone number and to this day, I remember it

Washington Builders
You get a whole lot more
That's Washington Builders
Call Sunset 3 - 24 *bump**bump 04

That's the power of a jingle for you.

Another odd one was the opening song to a short-lived comedy series in the 60's called It's About Time. Does anyone else remember this one?

It's about time
It's about space
About two men
in the strangest place.

Seriously random, but in HS we had to memorize the prelude to Chaucer's Canterbury Tales....in Old English...and I still remember it today more than 20 years later.

The position of the songs on the first CD of the Hamilton album. (For example, You'll Be Back is 7, and Helpless is 10.)

The Irish National Anthem.

It's really strange bc I'm not even Irish and I have no known Irish ancestors either. Nor do I speak the language. Or even have the accent/pronunciation down.

It just popped up in my youtube recommended one day and I watched it bc I was bored and now I remember all the words. It's extremely bizarre. I have no idea why it is relevant to me but I think about it all the time lol

I have to listen to the same two Sherlock Holmes stories in order to fall asleep and I've memorized the first line of The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle. "I had called upon my friend, Mr. Sherlock Holmes, on the second morning after Christmas."

So there’s this line in Hamilton where A. Ham goes “Whatever you say sir Jefferson will pay for this behavior!” And I just can’t forget it! And my family makes fun of me for it.

Haha same! I always have two stuck in my head, “We rendezvous with Rochambeau, consolidate their gifts!!” And “ Washington cannot be left alone to his devices! Indecisive from crisis to crisis! The best thing he can do for the revolution is turn and go back to planting tobacco in Mount Vernon!! OoOoOoH!”

I know every word to the song in the early 1990s Hot Wheels "Super Van City" commercial. It burrowed in my brain in childhood and never left. At least one of my siblings knows every word as well.

Not that odd, but a lot of really fast rap parts. (Busta Rhymes in Look At Me Now, Rap God, I'm currently working on Godzilla.)
