Inspirational quotes are EVERYWHERE these days. Posters, social media, you name it. But I think we all have that one quote that makes out blood boil.

‘We are all in the same boat’
No we are not. Some have ships, some have yachts, some speedboats, canoes, rafts…I’m currently in a pedalo with a massive hole in it.
“I’m gonna go to bed before you find another way to get killed or worse EXPELLED!” -Hermione Granger Harry Potter and the philosophers stone.
Two quotes not really quotes but still should be listed.
1. Everything happens for a reason. Why do people say this? Grandma just died well it happens for a reason🙄
2.It’s okay. No no it’s not. Not all the time we can’t live without sadness or pain. I never trust optimist. Or optometrist.
“Fake it till you make it”
Honestly I dont even have to explain it 👁👄👁
I have seen educators try to "fake it till they make it". Ended up having a whole lot of confused students who couldn't pass their exams and failed out of a college that they paid almost $20,000 to attend. This phase should be criminalized.
"Do or do not. There is no try." - Yoda. Seriously, WHY? There are SO MANY things this doesn't apply to. You're saying if I want to be happy, there's no trying, I'm either going to magically be happy or I'm stuck being sad? That I just need to do the soccer technique I've been TRYING to learn for weeks? It annoys me that it seems to insinuate that I'm either not trying hard enough or that I'm destined to fail.
"You can do anything"
No. I can't. I'm blind. My options are somewhat limited.
I want to drive, and I could, but only if you want me to commit mass murder. I can't play video games like other kids my age, I can't ride a bike to the park with friends. I can't play baseball with my brothers in the backyard.
So it's a lot harder to make friends, because all the *normal* things they do, I can't do. And I live in a very small town, I'm literally the only blind person there.
"The customer is always right." Retail workers put up with a lot of cr*p because of this quote.
It's not even the whole quote. The whole quote is "The customer is always right in matters of taste."
