For me it's the pushcart project. We read the pushcart war in class, and the teacher wanted us to build a pushcart? What for? Why? To waste cardboard and glue on something that will become a spider's future home?
My science teacher wasted perfectly good gummy bears to teach us about hypotheses. The big question was would the dissolve or would they get puffy.
Every group project. I’m a professor now and I never assign group projects. The traditional justifications for group projects are nonsense.
Making Dna structures with marshmellos, gummy bears, and toothpicks. We weren't even allowed to eat them > :(
