We all lost something at one time or another. What was the most important?

I had a picture of my dad in a locker after he died. My friend asked to see the locket, stole the picture, and lost it.

I lost my keys. No need to explain why that's important. Especially when you have to get home. After that time, I've never lost them ever since. It's been about 20 years since then.

I had a brown sheep toy when I was really young and it was my favourite toy. I brought it will me somewhere, then lost it, and never saw it again. I cried for days.

I had a button(or a pin idk), a Magic The Gathering button, it read Creature-Human. I was hurriedly getting dressed one day, (I was late for school) put it down somewhere, never seen it since. It’s just vanished. No clue where it is. Not my most important thing, but it had sentimental value to me and I liked it

I lost a ring I got from my mother in law. She gave it to me while suffering from a brain tumor. She thought the ring suited me, because it had those theatre (comedy/tragedy masks and I am a dramatherapist. It wasn't a family-piece, just a nice ring and a very kind gift. I lost it after she had died, and I REALLY felt bad and I still do. Somedays I tend to still look for it in places where I haven't looked before. I still hope I'll find it one day!
