I have a thing for the wild ones.
My sister-in-law was trying to pick out three kittens that were raised feral. We had caught two in a barn without much trouble and I finally cornered this little grey one. He was a spitfire. I grabbed him and he absolutely tore my hands apart. He punctured skin a few times biting me too.
That was the moment I knew he'd be a good cat, haha. We named him Sphinx and my sister tamed him and he was such a good boy and super beautiful too.

I also was careful about cleaning and caring for my bites too. Cat bites can be super dangerous if they get infected.

Instantly. I was setting down a very nice cat at the shelter when I heard the attendant behind me say, “And then there’s this little guy.” I turned around and she was already putting him into my arms. He was a scrawny, six month old black kitty (mahogany in sunlight!) recovering from a mild eye infection. He clung to me, purring like a lion, and rubbed his face and goopy eye all over my cheek. I got teary-eyed and knew I’d found my furry soul mate, Milo. We had fourteen wonderful years. I lost him four years ago, and life is just not the same without him, though it’s better for having him in it.

I went to the shelter after our cat died. i understand for some it might not work to get another cat right after another pet dies, but it was my way of coping. I was walking through this room with cages of cats, and one caught my eye. He was a big (and I mean really chonky) orange tabby and he was sticking his paws through the cage and batting at me, wanting pets. At that point, I already knew I wanted him. But what convinced me further to get him was the fact that his name was (and still is) Garfield. I went home with him that day.

When I first saw him. About a month prior, I had seen a sleek gray mackerel tabby in a dream. He looked exactly like that cat, and when he sat in my lap, that sealed the deal. Now Uraza is my little fur baby, a cranky little floof with 7 kills so far.

"If this was your cat what would you name him?"

"Alexander."
