Like everyone on my soccer team had iphones and we needed a group chat and one of the girls didn't have a phone number or something and so the gc was only a ichat or whatever so they all said hey let's do it on ig. I don't have ig. I have texting and that's it. It sucks. And their all like just get iPhones. Like oh let me just stop what I'm doing and just get an iphone where I will have to change my number and lose all my contacts cuz it's all on Google. Like b***h no.

These people on YouTube shorts who post the same video over and over and it’s just, like, 5 seconds long and just says “hey, it would be nice if you subscribed,” and then the video end or this one i see a lot that says “subscribe or next day you die,”.

My daughter has a nonbinary friend and I've slipped up a few times on the pronouns and they said as long as it isn't done with malicious intent, they understand :)

I'm pretty sure if it's an honest mistake people are understanding. Getting super closed-off and defensive just calls more attention to it and makes it seem deliberate. I think if you say exactly what you said: "I'm sorry, I slipped up, I'm trying my best and I'll try to do better" goes a long way. You wouldn't like being misgendered, right? (As a woman who has had severely short hair for about half my life, lots of cruel people have loved to misgender me as a way to mock my appearance, and I don't love it). I know a few trans people and if you knew them before they transitioned it can be a honest mistake and it takes time to see that person as the person they are. Most trans people realize that it can be a mental adjustment- people know the difference between a mistake and mockery.

I already added one but I’m gonna add another. Kids smoking and drinking and doing drugs. The other day i was in the car with my parents (im a minor) and i saw these kids that looked 9 or 10 smoking. My friend also said that there is a kid in his grade doing drugs. So that kid is 12-13. It’s just crazy that parents let their kids do this. And I’m pretty sure it’s illegal.

Ridiculous makeup trends!! I'm a pro makeup artist and some of the "beauty" trends going on right now like getting botox at 20 years old, or filling your face with fillers. You're young and beautiful as you are!! Also the super heavy makeup for every day wear... can we please go back to simple, clean beauty?

I went to Sephora and got my makeup done for free on my wedding day- I just bought the makeup the mua used (Urban Decay Vice lipstick, MUFE hd, Smashbox El, TooFaced mascara). I had so much fun laughing with her and she did an amazing job- she didn't do any crazy contouring or a heavy mask of concealer bc she felt I didn't need it. I still can't believe how good I looked- but I looked like me, only better. My MIL and SIL hired a "professional" makeup artist to come to them and she not only made them very late for the ceremony but they looked like they had been punched in the eyes.

Helicopter or Lawnmower Parenting. I think a lot of kids are more thoughtful, compassionate, and empathetic now than they were when I was a kid- but I also think that parents not wanting their child to struggle or fail, or wanting to protect them from everything, and not wanted ng them to ever experience any difficulty has created kids who don't know how to pick themselves up from a loss. They haven't encountered problems that require them to use creative and critical thinking to solve things without an adults help.

The trend on board panda for people to downvote you just because they disagree or to be a jerk and you get suspended. If someone is deliberately mean or disrespectful or trollish that's okay but just having a different opinion or sarcasm someone doesn't get it can actually get you kicked off of here for good.
