Not to hate others due to skin colour, sexuality, gender etc.

It should not be needed because children are not naturally racist, but you get the children of bigots learning unhealthy behaviours.

Pill swallowing. I'm actually not joking. An example of this was my sister. currently she's pretty sick, and she needs to take pills to make her feel better. But she has the worlds strongest gag reflex. She's 13 and can't swallow pills. if she can't swallow pills now, she will struggle later with pills.

Also self dependence is very important. Don't chew their food for them..

Food. Healthy eating, lots of fruit, veg, mushrooms, not so much meat. Keep away from processed c**p. Half of the Western Worlds health problems would disappear if we paid attention to what we eat.

Eat c**p and you'll feel c**p. Eat well and you will feel well.

How to build a shelter, it’s amazing how handy this can be to know when you’re stuck in the woods or in the mountains.

Empathy. I think most people are born with some degree of it but a lot of kids need to learn how to put themselves in other’s shoes

This isn't something that can be taught. I was born without it, and now I have, maybe 3 or 4 things I can empathise with. You can guide with morals in the hopes that the empathic ability grows. You can ask someone to try to picture what it must be like. But sometimes, we are just incapable. You can teach how not to be an a**e though! I learnt that eventually.

To tie their shoelaces.

I. Am. Not. Kidding.

The amount of people my age and grown men and women literally don't know how to tie their shoes. 3 year olds can do that- or used to.
