My Country is Sacred. I'm an Aboriginal Australian and my Country is Dunghutti, the Rainbow serpent sleeps in the waterfalls at Aspely falls and her colours wash out and color the world.

Solidarity. In everyday life many people are indifferent and cynical, still bearing the wounds of 45 years of communist dictatorship. However, in times of crisis (such as the war in Ukraine) we are able to find amazing resources of compassion and support for those in need.

Films have subtitles. This is incredibly helpful if you learn a foreign language. And even if you're not, you still get some phrases and words. When I visited Rome some years ago, I was surprised to realize that I understood local people's conversations. I never studied Italian. (I did, however, watch many Italian films as a child.)

Danube Delta. Wild, beautiful, incredible. It's a miracle that such place exists in Europe (actually it's unique). I visited it last summer. Our boat floated among of large areas covered with waterlilies in bloom. Our guide took us close to the pelican colonies (must have been a few hundred birds). If you have the chance to go there, don't miss it.

-Many human rights that people in my country take for granted are ensured to us by the Constitution, like freedom of speech and religion, and the right to a trial with a lawyer if you are accused of a crime. Of course, this isn’t perfect, and I can think of many instances these rights were violated, but I’m glad that our government took the time to write them out so certain people couldn’t take them away from us.
-All public restrooms are free and water fountains are everywhere
    -Free refills at restaurants
-Great customer service is normally a given
    -A/C is practically everywhere
    -24 hour stores.

To be honest, I feel like the countries are all a mess. Just not really making a lot of sense for economic growth, personal happiness, medical/dental, abuse problems, still fighting a never ending war.. like, just seems a lot like de-evolution considering we have this huge planet and we have enough information now to know what matters most but people are avoiding progress in exchange for profit.

Switzerland - How safe everything is. Random examples: I can let my kid play on the playground without fear of kidnapping. Food is awesome and high quality. People don't drive like maniacs. Public transportation is reliable and clean. There are (almost) no venomous or poisonous animals. I could technically drink the water from our lakes and don't get sick. Healthcare is top notch. We haven't been in armed conflicts since centuries. Air is clean.
It's just such a privilege to live here, and I'm grateful for it every day!
