I had 3 hermit crabs about a decade ago, and one night I left their enclosure open. The nest morning I found them under my bed, on my dresser, and in my sock drawer.
One time when we went down to Georgia to visit my granny, my aunt and cousin were living there and they had just gotten a dog. They got a Belgian Malanios and named it Nala. We were sitting on the front porch(it was more like a car port)and Nala kept coming up to my dog; a dutch shepherd named Fergie. And biting at her and wanting to play. Which in turn just irritated Fergie and she started snapping at Nala. So my dad comes out and tells Fergie to be nice and play with the pupper which just made her more mad to the point where she wouldnt even look at my dad and just ignored everybody and everything. To this day; she is now 9 years old. If Fergie gets mad she will ignore you. The longest she has every been mad at me is almost an hour bc i was trying to teach her to hold a treat on her nose. Which resulted in her trying to just take the treat from me and me getting bitten and scratched.
Another one of my favorite stories about Fergie is when we were putting a fence up last summer and my little sister who was the same age as my dog(they were both 8 at the time) had taken her out on the leash. Everything was going good as it always does. Fergie didn't pull. Didn't try to run off or anything like that. Until my neighbor from across the street started walking her dog. Fergie didn't react till the dog stepped foot in our yard and by that point Fergie bolted. She didn't attack or anything just stood there but then the other dog (a Labrador retriever) decided to be aggressive. Fergie actually grew up playing with pit bulls so she is already really aggressive when she play and when she gets mad. But that dog really hit a nerve and Fergie snapped back louder than i had ever heard her before me and my papaw were all the way on the other side of the yard cleaning up some of the left over dirt and we could hear everything that went on. At that point my dad ran over and grabbed Fergie and Fergie calmed down with my dad there. Through that whole exchange the girl walking the retriever just stood there staring and my dad had to yell at her to get her to walk past.
Side note: My baby girl Fergie is very sweet even though in these stories she seems really aggressive and mean but if you ever want to get a dog i recommend getting a dutch shepherd. They are family dogs who are friendly to other dogs and other people. Plus they are smart and learn quickly.
once my babysitter and i were clearing the table, and we had to take two trips. my dog Daisy, a very small dog, looked at the chair, then the table, then waited for us to leave. i assume she jumped on the chair, then the table, cause when we came back she was lapping up my fruit punch
My son & gf brought their dwarf hamster to visit. When we showed the hamster to my Congo African Grey parrot, Gracie said, "Is it yummy?"
during thanksgiving this year our cat alex got on the counter to try and eat meat from the stove and so I get up and yell GET DOWN and he skitters right off the counter and then my dad puts him in the basement
If you tapped on the floor in front of you Latte the cat would come and lay down and roll over so you could give her tummy rubs, Bacon the cat would go for walks around the block (no harness involved), Gary the cat demand to be hand fed bamboo leaves and Penny the cat happily sits in the rain.
My grandma had just arrived at my house and she was bringing in her bags (she usually stays a night or two) and my dog Beau loves her a bunch, he was running around the yard and then he stopped next to her car, looked at his reflection, then he looked a little startled and excited, and promptly bumped his nose against her car. It was hilarious, he was so confused, we all burst out laughing 😂
