Hey Pandas, What Is Your All-Time Favourite Book And Why? (Closed)
Community member
I'm looking for new things to read, so this would be really helpful! Thank you!!

I have a few, depending on what you like to read. The Eragon books are amazing if you like dragons and magic and stuff. And if you can find any of Maria Gripes books translated to your language, then you have some great older Y/A books right there

Hey there everyone. As my new username says, I am leaving BoredPanda for a little while. Maybe forever, maybe not. Don't worry! The reason for this isn't anything bad. I've been on this website for over 4 years now. I joined BP because I had time to spare and nobody to share it with, and had been like this for nearly all my life. I wanted to find a friendly environment to explore the internet and chat to people occasionally, and BP was the perfect place for this, so I'm forever thankful for that. You wonderful fellow pandas have been so kind and helpful and generous to me when I had no one else. Each of you have given me reasons to smile on my loneliest days. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. A little while ago I met a man who approached me while I was giving a tour through the national park I work at. He was kind and charming and cheeky and self-righteous, but he kept coming back each day for weeks. He told me that he fell for me the first time we met, and after all the weeks of him following me around like a puppy, I fell for him too. We've been living together for a while now, and I have no doubt in my mind that he is the love of my life. I'm not alone anymore. I never thought I'd ever say that, I thought I'd die alone. But he looks at me as if I'm a man who is worth knowing. For some strange reason, this angel of a guy found me and chose to love me. He proposed to me last week, and I very happily said yes. We are getting married in 7 months, so we are spending our time planning. There's so much to do. And I finally feel happy. This site has served its purpose. And that is why I am leaving. I won't be deleting this account, I'll just leave it as it is. Maybe I'll come back occasionally, just to check in on the rest of you. I wish I could invite all you lovely pandas to my wedding! You'll all be there in spirit. If you'd like to contact me for any reason, please do. I'd love to hear from you. Wishing you all the best, Ranger Jeremy Kanootsen.

Hey there, Pandas! My name is Diana (though some prefer to refer to me as Diane, Deanna, and even Liana sometimes), and I am a Community Post Moderator Lead for Bored Panda. As my position title states, I am one of the people (employed Pandas for bamboo) over here who work with the community side of things on this website to ensure all is well, and while at that, I also help various creators and artists get recognition for the incredible work they do by connecting them to a large worldwide audience. Other than that, outside of work, you can find me brewing a nice cup of coffee, making a pizza from scratch, or baking brownies. I also love traveling, concerts, and cats (heavy on that, because I am a cat mom).
