tell us what is the worst thing you ate

When we were kids I had a brother who would always dare us to do something. Well if he was going to take the date I certainly wasn’t going to not take it as well. Once the dare was to eat cow feed. We did. We threw up all night. That was not the worst though. Mark could think up really sick dares. Eat a sandwich with jam and mayonnaise in it. I already despised mayonnaise, but stupidly refused to let him win. We ate those gross sandwiches. Never been so sick in my life! Refused to eat even a smidgen of mayonnaise ever again to this day. Like to say I didn’t take dares anymore, but I did. None were as gross as that one though.

We used to chew sap. Weren't allowed to have gum. Pretended it was gum.

Mustard Flavored Soda. I thought it was just a funny title and it was really just lemonade. Nope. It tasted like mustard and sugar.

Pizza with a raw egg on top. We were in Belgium and a friend ordered it for everyone. Not good. It was not good.

Mum used to drain the juice from tinned fruit into a cup and I’d drink it later. One day dad told me there was a cup of juice in the fridge for me. So, without checking, I took a big mouthful only to find it was egg white 🤮. Fortunately I realised before I swallowed and ran outside to spit it out. Dad thought it was hilarious

I'm not sure mine is as bad as what others ate and I'm not even sure that I ate it. When I was visiting relatives in Sicily, I had meals with them. One day they gave me a meat that I didn't recognize. It didn't taste like anything that I'd ever had before. Then I remembered the big plastic horses I had seen on the signs of butcher shops, the way you have big plastic cows on the signs of butcher shops in the US. I didn't want to ask what I had eaten.
