Reverse the reversal of ROE V WADE. Give women control over their bodies again.
learn about menstruation and accept that there might be women stronger than men.
yes istg men need to learn about periods, if i hear one more stupid idea or "ew thats gross" i will smack you and mail a vial of my uterine lining to your house for eternity
Stop using the term “gets no b-tches”. Uh, if you use that term the so-called “b-tches” don’t want you either
i am both the so called b*tches and the one who "gets" the so-called b*tches and this is absolutely right
Use y'all's male privilege to start protesting against sexist laws and regulations, especially the whole 72 cents on the dollar thing! Do that all year round even!
Bonus tip: If you have female friends, you will earn their undying respect if you have snacks, period products, or chapstick on hand.
I don't like women's history. There are shirts in the girls' section that say "Girl Power" but if there was one for boys that said "Boy Power" it would be considered misogynistic. If there was a men's history month nobody would participate. As a woman, I believe that "women's history month" is just ridiculous. If you still want to celebrate, that's your choice. You can try and notice subtle or implicit misogyny and call it out. Also most women will adore you if you give them chocolate.
Out of curiosity, do you not like Black History Month either? They're similar in purpose, and your point about the shirts applies to it as well. I agree with the part about chocolate, if someone gives me a Hershey's bar I will pledge my undying loyalty.
Having my boyfriend acknowledge that women actually don't 'have it easier' than white, straight, old men would be a nice start...
Nothing. I don't need praise or services provided to me on the basis of a biological feature I did not choose
This doesn't really answer the question, but I want to vent. I watched the very impactful, well made movie She Said and was proud that there are people fighting back against people who sexually abuse people. Then the next movie I watch has a guy who forces his way into a woman’s home after being told to go away. She ends up sleeping with him and having a relationship! This is why people feel like they can treat others like this, and get away with it, because the media shows them being rewarded! I watched another movie after that where the guy literally abducted the girl, and she then forgives him and marries him! These were old movies but people still watch them, so it would be no surprise if they influenced people. The casual way these things come up in the media is the most maddening part because it’s like saying they are just accepted fact!
