I have mixed feelings about it. The singing, art, and some other communities on it are great, but the problematic ones and inappropriate ones are what ruins it. And the ones that just take up space with pointless posts. Other than those little minor problems, I sorta like it!

Littering. I hate it, but it still appears popular with many people. Oh, that and Christmas; all the hype and pointless weeks and weeks of adverts and expectation building up for just one day. In the UK, the only event that proceeds Christmas is Halloween. Once November 1st begins then so do the Christmas adverts, that's 55 days, nearly 8 weeks, of constant adverts.

Yes i get that. Where i live we have a car park in front of my block and beside it a chip shop and Chinese take away. People park up, get their take away, eat it in there vehicles then throw the wrappers out of their windows and drive off! In the car park we also have a big bin area!

Broccoli gets a bad rap, but I eat it almost every day because its cheap and low in carbs. I find myself craving broccoli if I haven't had in a while. Steamed with sriracha sauce (Huy Fong brand) is one of my favorite ways to eat it.

Country Music. I dislike "professional sports" for the same reason, and that includes most motorsports too. I have found a few gems though: Badminton, athletic, fast-paced and exciting without sponsor breaks every minute; and Goodwood Revival, because if you're going to race cars, why not race ones that are 100 years old? 100x more exciting than F1.

I think that hate is too strong a word for it, but people posting dozens of photos of their young or even teenage children, especially when it's just to get likes or attention for themselves. Keeping true opinions to yourself. I get that sometimes it is best to keep your personal opinion out of a conversation with some people but I if you are my close friend or family member, I want to hear your opinions even if I disagree with them! How can I ever learn that my p.o.v. is wrong about something if the people in my life wont give me opposing information? A conversation or even a debate can be done with mutual respect.

It seems like more and more often that I hear someone say something along the lines of "I disagreed with that but I didn't want to offend them so I didn't say anything".

Hearing snippets of other peoples pointless conversations where-ever you go.The not respecting the request to please turn off your phone at concerts,museums,movie-theatres.Try having a nice meal at a restaurant with your partner/friend...impossible...the adjoining tables all laden down with car-keys and the ever-present iphone and little conversation going on as each diner will be watching the «thing« like hawks in case they should miss a call.The children are increasingly having psychological problems and poor performance in school.A study made in England on 80.000 school children revealed that as much of 70% had problems in school due to lack of sleep as they have the phone on 24/7 and don´t get a good nights sleep.I am not saying Cell-phones are all evil,they have their use,but please use them wisely...just saying..

Never liked the taste of beer, or related beverages. Only like the sweeter wines, the rest taste like vinegar to me. As for liquor, there are some I like and others I detest (gin tastes like rubbing alcohol to me). There are a lot I can’t drink, because they contain wheat (developed a sensitivity to it late in life, and get really REALLY sick if I ingest any). A majority of them I can only enjoy as part of a mixed drink, and then only as the tiniest part of it. Mostly though, I just don’t like being drunk. I don’t like losing control of myself, and have a fear of being drunk, getting into an uncomfortable situation, and not being in a clear enough mind to get myself out of it (because most people are useless AF when you really need help—-more so if they’re drunk). A comfortable buzz is all I need. I relax, feel better, know where I am and what I’m doing, and avoid a miserably sick hangover the next day.

Is it all bright colors, or just certain ones? I am partially colorblind and the specific hues "light red" #FF5555 and "light green" #55FF55 hurt my eyes if I have to look at them on a display for any length of time. Who else remembers CGA graphics? Anyone?

I agree and I smoke. But once I came across a bird nest on the ground. Used and abandoned. The birds who made the nest had stuck cigarette filters among the twigs. Now, did the female bird have her own comfort in mind, cushioning for her eggs or the babies after they hatched? I have always wondered about that.

Complaining about a service. I don't know if it's my nature or just because I am socially awkward, but I simply cannot complain about the food or the service I have been provided with. Knowing this, sometimes my friend or family do it, but that too embarrasses me. Weirdly though, it is quite common around.

Only complain if the service was bad and/or rude. And even then, keep it on the downlow, be discreet, and don’t bother anyone about it except for the manager. Keep emotion and bad language out of it, just calmly explain what happened. Then let the manager handle it—-that’s their job.

Some people drink a small amount and it doesn't do them any harm, some people drink far too much and it does damage as you say. I stopped drinking about 30 years ago because I discovered I enjoyed myself just as much without it. but I never did go out to clubs, nightclubs, etc, so I don't miss it.

“A Clockwork Orange”...I realize it’s considered a classic, and have been told more than once it’s a film everyone should experience at least once, but I couldn’t even finish it. It just wasn’t for me and isn’t what I look for when I sit down to a movie.

I had rented it and walked home to watch immediately (in the days of rental locations). Maybe an hour in, I had to shut it off, I was too disturbed. I walked back to the store and told the cashier “Excuse me; I just rented this movie, and it’s...unpleasant. Is there any chance I can exchange it?” He looked in the computer, had a clearly surprised look, and told me “Oh, yeah, you weren’t even gone two hours. Sure, go grab something else and come up to my counter.”

I talk about my own experience. There seems to be an inverse correlation between female beauty (standard) and how interesting they are as a person

The prettiest women I've been around are all shallow, empty, with really silly hobbies and interests in life, many don't try hard anything because they know their beauty opens doors for them

It is annoying to hang around with someone who has hundreds of vulturea flying around ar all times

And also, hate me if you want but Hot women are expensive, both in money, time and peace of mind

College sports. There is so much hype about the games and teams. These are supposed to be college students, they are definitely not getting a fair or equitable education to their peers while playing basketball on the road for weeks on end. They earn millions for the schools without getting a red cent in return, often sustaining lifelong injuries. It is extremely rare for college athletes to become professional athletes.
That said, the college sports ranking and team matchups make no sense either. If the Big10 schools are so great, they should all face off against only each other for the season, not play unranked little schools that have no chance of winning and only hurting their record.
I guess the last point to go with that is the student athletes having to hold a big press conference and publicly announce the school they are pledging to next year. Nobody cares, you're a high school kid who can't read telling everyone that you are signing a contract for Ohio. College sports should be abolished and replaced with privately owned/operated minor leagues that pay athletes, and if they choose to attend college during the time they play they are treated like every other student.

Pudgy the "Owa Owa" dog.
I don't hate Pudgy himself, but I hate how the owner is always bothering the elderly dog or yelling at his pets. I also don't understand how so many people support this. There was a video of him yelling and growling at his adopted cat for pooping on the floor and the cat (obviously) got mad and hid under the bed. All the comments were about how all his pets were "messed up" and angry when in fact, the animals are having a natural response to being yelling/growled at. There were also people saying that the animals were like that from PTSD because they were abused in their previous homes. It just doesn't make sense why he would yell at pets that were previously abused. He should be extra kind to them as in order to prevent triggering the PTSD.

I apologize for the long rant but I can't understand why he's so popular.

Bootcamp or yoga class in a park or just any public outdoor space!!!!!
Especially since Covid: those kettlebells and yoga pants are everywhere, when I go out for a walk. It's making me feel like I'm the only person on this planet not terrified of not really staying in shape during this everlasting lockdown...

Having a legitimate issue with a product or service and being concerned that if you were to air your grievances that you would end up on Social Media as a "Karen" I have seen videos where the staff were treating the customer atrociously, whether the customer rude is not the point, but the customer is the one humiliated. I’m not a fish eater in general. I used to be, but when you’ve gotten food poisoning one time too many from fish and shellfish, you completely lose your taste for it, and develop an aversion to it. I now can’t even bear the sight or smell of it. My husband loves fish, would eat it morning noon and night if he could, but since I never eat it I don’t even have a clue how to cook it. So he has to cook his single portion all on his own if he wants fish for dinner. I’ll be in the other room, or outside, trying to avoid smelling it.

My sympathy, a friend is the same, and while people often think it means less presents and that is why people get cranky, in truth it often means loneliness. People that you care for, friends and so on are usually spending the day with their own families, commitments to their own traditions etc, and your own family may be occupied with their focus on Christmas and you end up an afterthought. Changing the day does not really help either, because then you are making an extra sacrifice. Anyone born between then and Jan 1st are pretty much in a week of too much else is more focused on.

Selfies for selfies sake, sure, but having been to the eiffel tower and having pictures of only the tower, they mean little more than I could have just bought a postcard and saved the developing fee ( it was before digital :) ) Being in the picture and close enough now to control that yourself, also gives a timeline, photos that include the traveler show that traveler years down the line how different they looked then, how happy they were, that friend with them that maybe they haven't called in a while, that sweater they were wearing their nana made that they lost in some horrible hostel in some other country on their trip, but they have that photo to remember it by. A lot of reasons for capturing the moment in full other than to prove you went, it is to remember the experience in more than just the tower being present.
