Keeping true opinions to yourself. I get that sometimes it is best to keep your personal opinion out of a conversation with some people but I if you are my close friend or family member, I want to hear your opinions even if I disagree with them! How can I ever learn that my p.o.v. is wrong about something if the people in my life wont give me opposing information? A conversation or even a debate can be done with mutual respect.

“A Clockwork Orange”...I realize it’s considered a classic, and have been told more than once it’s a film everyone should experience at least once, but I couldn’t even finish it. It just wasn’t for me and isn’t what I look for when I sit down to a movie.
I had rented it and walked home to watch immediately (in the days of rental locations). Maybe an hour in, I had to shut it off, I was too disturbed. I walked back to the store and told the cashier “Excuse me; I just rented this movie, and it’s...unpleasant. Is there any chance I can exchange it?” He looked in the computer, had a clearly surprised look, and told me “Oh, yeah, you weren’t even gone two hours. College sports. There is so much hype about the games and teams. These are supposed to be college students, they are definitely not getting a fair or equitable education to their peers while playing basketball on the road for weeks on end. They earn millions for the schools without getting a red cent in return, often sustaining lifelong injuries. It is extremely rare for college athletes to become professional athletes.
That said, the college sports ranking and team matchups make no sense either. If the Big10 schools are so great, they should all face off against only each other for the season, not play unranked little schools that have no chance of winning and only hurting their record.
I guess the last point to go with that is the student athletes having to hold a big press conference and publicly announce the school they are pledging to next year. Nobody cares, you're a high school kid who can't read telling everyone that you are signing a contract for Ohio. College sports should be abolished and replaced with privately owned/operated minor leagues that pay athletes, and if they choose to attend college during the time they play they are treated like every other student.

I don't hate Pudgy himself, but I hate how the owner is always bothering the elderly dog or yelling at his pets. I also don't understand how so many people support this. There was a video of him yelling and growling at his adopted cat for pooping on the floor and the cat (obviously) got mad and hid under the bed. All the comments were about how all his pets were "messed up" and angry when in fact, the animals are having a natural response to being yelling/growled at. There were also people saying that the animals were like that from PTSD because they were abused in their previous homes. It just doesn't make sense why he would yell at pets that were previously abused. He should be extra kind to them as in order to prevent triggering the PTSD.

Seeing people get 'called out' (aka shamed) online for their supposed ignorant opinions. Karen Labels... Having a legitimate issue with a product or service and being concerned that if you were to air your grievances that you would end up on Social Media as a "Karen" I have seen videos where the staff were treating the customer atrociously, whether the customer rude is not the point, but the customer is the one humiliated. This gives people too much power to do as they please as the fear will end up very real that if you say something you will lose everything.

The belief that adults have to get married. Marriage is not required in order for someone to have a happy life. If you want kids then yeah, sure get married, or get married and adopt. When you have adult family dinner during a holiday, in some instances. Everybody has someone except you. And then you get asked "the question." "Hey ----- Why aren't you married/dating anybody yet?" I am not saying people who ask these questions are purposefully trying to make the person feel bad. But it can be embarrassing, and hurtful.

I also hate the stereotype that in a movie. The most popular girl in the movie, who also happens to be the cheerleading captain, is dating the most popular guy who also happens to be a quarterback for the football team. It's annoying. that's why I love high school musical. The popular main character fell for a pretty science geek.

A lot of times when I see articles like this, many of the opinions are actually pretty popular and people only post them to be validated by others agreeing. Anyways, mine is cilantro! Tastes like a dead bug (Or what I think one would taste like) with soap.

That's a genetic thing I think, the cilantro and whether you like or detest it :) same as my aversion to raw tomato; a genetic thing where you need a gene to produce the right thing to break down something in raw tomato (it's already broken down if cooked). Without it, you can't digest it and the brain remembers, and associates the taste of tomato as 'bad' to discourage you from eating it. I imagine it might be similar for cilantro seeing as it's genetic too
