Forgot the second "R" in Lamarr. Oops! My cousin brought her back from a thrift store when he was on a trip. I dress her up in whatever suits my fancy. The HVAC guy actually said it made him think I was the kind of person he'd like to hang out with.

We have a set of racist dental tools marked "White Surgery" and "Colored Surgery" that my mom found when she worked at the University of Tennessee. She didn't want her children whitewashed so she hung them up to say LOOK WHAT HAPPENED. People obviously often assume it is a racist statement but it is the opposite. Nobody would ever be able to convince her white, privilege happy kids that horrible racism was not the norm and in many ways still is. We weren't ALLOWED to not be anti-racist. That seemed like a triple negative. No racism allowed was her statement. Because look how disgusting it really feels when you mount it on the wall.
