Pretty simple-ish. What thing do you love but you can't really use for anything or doesn't do anything particularly useful?

I know it's silly but I have a blanket from when I was a baby. Isn't useful and is basically torn to shreds but I love it all the same. It's still soft too which is surprising considering all the horrors it's been through.

I still have a stuffed Humpty Dumpty that I had when I was an infant. A 43 year old Humpty Dumpty.

My grandparents used to get me music boxes all the time. One of them I adored the song on and eventually the entire box just broke apart. I still have the movement from the music box and its sitting inside my first ever music box. It works but its useless because its not attached to anything and lost the stopper so if I wind it I either have put a stop in it or listen to it for hours in horror moviesque disjointed twangs until it unwinds enough to stop. It's fine when you wind it tight but it goes slower and gets disjointed as the sprigs tension relaxes so that's where the horror moviesque stuff happens.

    Still love the thing.

My grandpa's driver's license. He died in 2008, so obviously it's useless now. My grandma gave it to me a few weeks after his funeral and I keep it in my purse ever since. I am no nostalgic person and don't really need a place to grieve or something, but this little card means a lot to me.

I guess the worst thing about losing my purse or getting it stolen would be that my grandpa's license would be gone forever ... everything else in there could be replaced but the license not.

Mr skeleton. He's just a dollar store plastic skeleton that we strap onto the antenna of my Jeep. But my kids named him and we love him. I have had to replace him three times in five years. Still worth it. I love the honks we get and I absolutely love it when kids see it and point and laugh. I also love my oogah horn. It's useless but it sounds cool

When we were learning anatomy in science, we had this halloween decoration skeleton in our classroom. We named him Eddy

My Cher doll I got in 1976 or 77. Hair is a mess, not worth anything, but I still love her

Drawing I guess. I draw and post a lot but only a few people see it. Maybe in the future! :)

My husband? Love him to bits but can barely manage to turn the oven to the right temp or change the belt on a vacuum cleaner. Utterly useless.
