Holes (2003)
When Sam died. I was crying like a baby. He was such a sweet man and it broke my heart.
Matilda the Musical (2022)
When the children all come together to protect Lavender and rebell against the Trunchbull. There's something about it that just tugs at my heart strings
The ending of the movie 2012 (with John Cusack) the movie was so awful, the end had me crying tears of joy.
When Thomas J dies in "My Girl"
Peter Pan: The scene where Tinkerbell is dying and Peter begs everyone to clap to save her. I cry so hard at that, I've started to resent it.
White Christmas, when General Waverley walks into the banquet hall and see his soldiers there.
Hachi: A Dog's Tale (2009)
I usually don't cry at movies, but from the moment Richard Gere dies to the final credits, I could not stop sobbing. Which felt pretty much like the entire movie
Homeward bound, where Shadow is in the mud pit. Full blown ugly snot crying. Honestly, anything where an animal especially a dog dies or is in danger
I can sit through all of the original All Quiet on the Western Front, but those last 10 seconds of double exposure tear me up completely
The scene in Fences when Troy tells Rose about his affair. Rose tearfully and angrily confronts him. You're not seeing Viola Davis, but you're seeing Rose, a dutiful wife who's been pushed around too many times.
In The Return of the King, pretty much entire last 45m of the movie. But, what starts the tears is “My friends, you bow to no one.” and everyone there bows to the Hobbits…and I’m tearing up just thinking about it.
Bridges of Madison County when Francesca's adult children released her ashes. I bawled because I knew she could finally be with that photographer guy forever.
In the movie "E.T. The Extraterrestrial," when E.T. dies. Seeing Drew Barrymore crying made me totally lose it. There I was, sitting with my friends like a blubbering fool. (I discovered later that Drew's scene was no act; she found out that day that E.T. was going to buy the farm, and was VERY upset about it.)
In "Bolt" (2008), when Bolt chooses to stay next to Penny in the burning building scene. I am such a dog person and that scene gets me every dayum time. I am so biased but that movie is my top Disney movie, hands down.
