(From a doctor) Sometimes right after they finish peeing and zip up, men feel like there is a little still left. It's getting trapped in a urinary tract u-bend, and you can squeeze some out with a little press at the front of the perineum. Also, sit down to pee. That's not a hack, it's just hygiene and tidiness.

I'm a male and I approve of this message. On a serious note though, and you really can't make this sh!t up - peeing standing makes it splash all over the place. You don't see it, and you don't feel it, because it's so small and miniscule. Fast-forward a week and get in there with UV-lights, anyone would be disgusted (hopefully anyway). Also, sitting down to pee is a lot more comfortable ofcourse :p

Hyaluronic Acid. I first used it in a cream on my face. Then I rubbed some on a bad sunburn. Next morning no peeling, no redness, no pain. I use it on EVERYTHING, cuts, burns, everything. Vets use it in horses' knees to rebuild tissue. Your doctor will give it to you if you need it. It has to be injected into the knee. My vet explained that when you put it on the skin it creates a matrix that skin cells grow on. I never have a cut last longer than one day. Within 24 hours it has closed. I am 75 and use it on my face every day. Use it directly on the skin, then whatever else you need. And you can get it cheap on Amazing.

Now I wonder if it will heal my eczema, or at least kill the itch until I can see a dermatologist. I've tried everything I could find and afford but it gets so bad even the sporadic times I can resist scratching despite all otc creams, lotions, whatever I use. Prescriptions are not always an option, obviously.

If you have a headache, press the skin between your thumb and first finger (the meaty part not the web) press kind of hard, you will feel it as a pain in your hand. Press for about 10 seconds, and slowly release it'll help your headache. Doesn't work for migraines sadly. If the pain is on your right side, do your right hand and vice versa. You can also massage in circles. There are pressure points there that directly correlate to your head. (headaches).

Also, if you have a brain freeze, put your thumb up to the roof of your mouth and press lightly and hold there (tongue works too just takes a bit longer) there are nerves there that freeze when you drink something cold quickly and literally send the pain to your head, this defrosts those nerves and the brain freeze will go away quicker.

It doesn’t work for migraines because even though they happen in your head, they’re not actually headaches—they’re blood events. Your brain becomes flooded with blood (I used to get them right before my periods), so the best way to fight them is ice packs. I usually put one on my neck and one on my head.

I have horrible insomnia, found that there are 3 acupressure points that can really help
1: at base of skull, halfway between ears and spine, press both spots with your thumbs for about 60 seconds
2: then behind your ears, on the skull bone about 1" above your ear lobes-again, apply pressure for 60 seconds
3: on your wrist, pinkie side, just inside the ligament about 1/2" below your palm, pressure for 60 seconds
You know you've found the spots when you feel sensitivity at the points
I have been doing this every night just as I get in bed....most nights it works
amazingly fast

There is a physiological reflex called the "gastro-colic reflex". Food in the stomach ("gastro" - relating to the stomach) will stimulate increased peristalsis (waves of contractions) in the large intestine ("colic" - relating to the colon). It is especially effective after breakfast. Don't be surprised if you need to go to the toilet (#2) after having a meal. There can be a little delay. This translates to: 1. If you are constipated, trying to go after a meal is the best time to try. 2. Don't have a meal and then rush out of the house onto public transport or into a traffic jam as the chance of needing to use the toilet is high.

If you are having unwanted thoughts or can’t stop
thinking about something annoying try this - tap any
of your fingers together or tap on a part of your body, hard enough that you can feel it, in a rhythm reasonably fast. Do it for a minute or so, repeat if needed. If you’re in bed & can’t sleep because of thoughts, try tapping one foot against the other, or just wiggling toes/a foot. There is a reputable therapy technique called tapping, it has specific routines to follow - it is very good. This is just my way, and I discovered it after learning and having EMDR in which you using similar techniques to disrupt the brains thought processes - try it!!!

Vomit, that is a sign that your body is trying to get rid of a harmful substance, vomiting is the only solution. Please don't try to suppress it, it only makes it worse and depending ob what you've ingested, you CAN die!

Emma Perkins

It's usually not that bad to put off vomiting, and in some cases you absolutely need to. Lots of things that are not harmful cause nausea, so as long as you've not just eaten something sketchy, I don't see it causing problems beyond a cramped stomach. Better to put it off and suffer a stomach ache than to vomit while driving, swimming, etc.

80% of the people admitted to hospital through Emergency are clinically dehydrated. If I'm feeling stupid and sluggish, a quart of water is a better, healthier, and cheaper alternative to a cup of coffee. Going dry, OTOH, improves focus at first, so I have to keep track and not overdo it.

I have two body hacks. #1 Peppermint liquid-flavoring we add to food dishes, use instead of mosquito repellent. Dab on exposed skin works for about two hours - also helps stop itching from various minor aliments.

#2 Bar soap under bed sheets at the end of the bed-will stop foot and leg cramps-it also cured my restless leg! Little flat hotel soaps are great. Do not use deodorant soap, I don't know why but it won't help stop the cramps.

1. Root Beer for soar throats
2. Ginger Ale for upset stomachs
3. Vinegar. Serves two purposes.

First, if you get a muscle cramp, drink a shot of vinegar (dill pickle juice will work too, but vinegar has less salt.)

Second, drink a shot of vinegar or eat some pickles when dining on seafood...especially raw fish. It protects your body from the effects of food poisoning (most of the time.)

4. If you have a headache on top of your head or in the back of your head, it's vascular. Caffeine can help get rid of it. Coffee is better than soda because the sugar in soda may add to the headache...especially if you are diabetic.

5. If your headache is behind your eyes, it's allergy related. Drink hot liquids with mint in it and take a warm damp wash cloth, close your eyes and lay it over your eyes and the bridge of your nose with your head tilted back. Leave it there for until the heat is gone. If your headache continues or your sinuses sting, go see a doctor..you may have a sinus infection.

6. If you see your kids tugging on their ears and having a hard time swallowing, take them to the doctor. They likely have an ear infection.

I got more, but will leave it there for now.

Just it should be moldy firm BUT gentle and never to be done if a person is suspected of a real blockage or something more serious going on. I wouldn’t call that an upset stomach though. Not a medical advise but an interesting fact: There’s a reflex called diving reflex that, among other things, lowers your heart rate when your face is submerged in cold water. It can also lead to fainting so please don’t try this at home, your smarter than that.
